No answer... Aggie could you please change the production to something useful, like a unit or a barracks if it doesn't have one?

Yes Ghengis you are. Panzer, every king has final control over his cities production. For 10 turns everybody generously gave me full control. But several turns ago I stated that the big war production push was over and it was time for other things. So in light of that I can't very well change the kings queues.

Yes but you haven't given any orders!!! Why do you think I made this thread??!! Aggie, please change it from settler!! Ghengis has not had a good reason to produce a settler so why should it make one????

          looking...

Aggie sent the save to RP already!!!!!!!! IF HE DIDN'T CHANGE THE SETTLER TO SOMETHING ELSE I AM CONSIDERING GHENGIS RESPONSIBLE FOR 30 GOOD SHIELDS OF WASTED PRODUCTION!!!!

            But a settler was requested.

I believe that it was planned on moving it to found a city in our area to the east of Thordoba.

who requested it??? Aggie? I was making one in Port Isolation for that purpose (not a big hit there because of the corruptness). I really hope Aggie switched it to something else, if not just for one turn as we discuss this.

We can always use it to beef up the size of one of more productive cities also, my back up if GS showed up was to use Macao as a population factory to grow Dreadnoughtica up to a size 12 city.

I was kinda worried Panzer had broke a blood vessel or something.

                    Okay, I wasn't really worried.

I probably did, especially once I found out Aggie sent the turn on with it probably unchanged. The thing I found infuriating is that I started this thread 2 days before discussion did and by then it was too late.

Ok, first thing is this. Everybody calm down. Yes, I did send the save with the settler being produced. My reason is the following, Ghengis is the king of that town, he said settler. The rules says kings have final say, obviously in the case of something being overlooked I could change it, but that was not the case. We have by my estimation 2 locations for settlers, so this one will not be wasted.

Now to my style of leadership. It has always been my belief(both in RL and game) that when I am in a leadership position that my REAL job is to help those I'm leading do their jobs the best way possible. Generally I do this by setting a general course and then staying out of the way unless I see something bantantly wrong or events are or will soon be going badly. Applying that to this situation I let the kings do what they do as long as it fits into our general plan and doesn't endanger our nation.

Do I always agree with what orders I'm given. Not always, but I've never seen an order that didn't have some merit. The fact is that even though we are all warmongers we have different styles of play. Let me give an example, generally I believe that it is wisest to concentrate on offense. This is based on the fact that its hard to attack when you are fighting for you life. However, a legitamate case can be made for building many defensive units(as GS does). Both are possible winning strategies and have merit and I realize this fact. This is true in our current case and thus without blantant error, I did what the king said.

ok well whats done is done, however I think if there is a thread up for 2 days debating a king's order and the king doesn't respond in those days he should be declared inactive and the order should be able to be overruled by either the CoIA or the Emperor.

Anyways here's the schematic of the sites:

I am really hesitant about settling anything around there for a while, since GS forces could take it over easily. I suggest adding this settler to another city. My early reccommendation would just be to join it back in Macao; look at the productive land around it. Anyway this reccommendation may change.

                            1) Aggie is doing a fine job at the Emperor position.
                            2) You are neither Emperor nor the only person on this team even though you refuse to transfer the moderator powers to the Emperor.
                            3) It was discussed and I volunteered to use one city to build a Settler to settle our territory. I don't see that you have the godlike authority to overrule the elected Emperor and the entire team just because you everyone didn't cater to your little temper tantrum.
                            4) You had many many turns to bring this up and didn't.

I will try to think of 5 later.
