    Here is my chat log with Legoland, excuse me if I said anything I shouldn't have:

    Session Start: Sun Nov 02 13:42:11 2003
    Session Ident: #gow
    * Now talking in #gow
    * Sharpe has joined #gow
    [Panzer32] once youre all in I'll set a pword
    * Kloreep has joined #gow
    [Kloreep] Hi
    [Sharpe] Hi!
    [Panzer32] is Nimitz coming?
    [Sharpe] I posted in the Lego chatroom , so not sure
    [Sharpe] If he wants to be FAM I would recommend it
    * Retrieving #gow info...
    * Nimitz has joined #gow
    * Panzer32 sets mode: +k jekc
    [Panzer32] hey Nimitz
    [Nimitz] hey
    * Panzer32 sets mode: +ooo Kloreep Nimitz Sharpe
    [Nimitz] long time
    [Panzer32] ok I just got the save and I just came across some important information
    [Nimitz] ya
    [Panzer32] GS has invaded GoW mainland
    [Sharpe] where?
    [Panzer32] http://apolyton.net/upload/files/Pan...SINVASION1.JPG
    [Panzer32] near Yellowknife
    [Panzer32] not near our core but still threatening
    [Panzer32] btw, we just got the save so I'm doing this as a privateer for now
    [Nimitz] lol
    [Sharpe] k, looks a large force..
    [Nimitz] 4 pikes and abunch of knights
    [Kloreep] Mind if I link that pic in the Lego forum?
    [Panzer32] we have 5 riders in the immediate area and have about 7 riders and 3 horsemen in our core
    [Panzer32] no go ahead Klo
    [Sharpe] how well are the cities in that area defended?
    [Sharpe] vis a vis are there any musketmen there yet
    [Panzer32] no muskets, just pikes
    [Panzer32] technically the cities aren't defended but there are 4 pikes making a sea wall (but not at that mountain )
    [Nimitz] ok that is troublesome
    [Panzer32] the closest barracks for upgrade is in Skulgaria but that is a 2 turn round trip for pikes
    [Sharpe] Skulgaria is a good place to gather your forces to stop GS - I would imagine that your cities east of there are very corrupt...
    [Panzer32] yeah... I think we can stop them earlier though
    [Panzer32] I'll admit I'm the Lord of that area so I don't want them to conquer it
    [Panzer32] brb
    [Sharpe] are you sure you are the target? from that spot they can attack either you or ND
    [Panzer32] back
    [Panzer32] it takes them 3 turns to nearest ND city, 2 turns to 2 GoW cities
    [Sharpe] and admittedly there are more GoW cities in that area
    [Panzer32] looking at it, I would say Yellowknife would be the first target
    [Sharpe] yeah, although probably Port Isolation is the ultimate target
    [Panzer32] right
    [Panzer32] the thing is, if they get Yellowknife, Port isolation is only 1 knight trip away. otherwise it is 2.
    [Panzer32] (depending where they move of course)
    [Panzer32] Yel. is the most strategic city there, the road network goes right through it
    [Nimitz] hmm
    * Nimitz sets mode: +s
    [Panzer32] well thats basically it for now
    [Sharpe] k, thanks for the early info
    [Panzer32] I imagine we will discuss a strategy in gow and will be able to tell you more either tonight or tommorrow
    [Sharpe] k

      Where is Lego BTW ?

      I thought they were sending knights into this exact area in case something like this happens.

        Perhaps Lego is the second prong and the GS Knights are the first Prong.

          Lego is in the south of ND right now, IIRC

            Actually the first knights of Lego are just south of Macao. The other 6 knights here are moving west along the ND/GOW border. I was considering sending an ROP to them. We alsoneed them to take our "nd" worker this turn to cut iron.

              maybe we should not cut Iron and instead upgrade some pikes to muskets?? I'm thinking defence guys...

                Also ND doesn't want to give us thordoba because they disconnected their irons for building horse to Ansar and the other iron is still disconnected. Additionally they have temple there, and that cultural items increases our Alliance range of vision. THAT fact(then iron) could argue for a GS attack toward there.

                  I that case Panzer we can just finish the pikes that were place holders.. The fact that pikes/horse cost the same is darn useful isn't it.

                  Also a question, "should we move our northern unit wall around Imperial city to assist in the east" or should we just go with what we have in the east. Basically the question is"could GS have a fleet of ships with knights/Mi, right to the north of the coast. Now our galley is postioned to avoid this event now, but is it possible to have done this earlier and have the fleet waiting in a hidden location?. A look at the map could see if it is possible, but I am to tired now for an in depth analysis.

                    I'm all for exploiting the Gunpowder advantage while the enemy doesn't have it.

                    And what's wrong with MZO today?

                      There are only 3 or so sea tiles we can't see directly, and they are not near our core. Of course there is a 0.0001% chance they have travelled ocean all the way and have not sunk but I am willing to take the slim chance and move towards the east

                        Vondrack wanted to speak before we played and sent on the turn. So I am waiting for tomorrow to play. This delay also adds to the image that we are weak so it is no problem to me. Anyway I was busy in RL anyway.

                          We are giving Lego a ROP.
                          Who then use it to move their knights, then they cancel it by taking the worker.

                              Our key to winning are Middle Age upgrades(and possibly Riflemen, not factories or hospitals). Of course the most cost effective upgrades will be to Cavalry, but it looks like the current situation might require immediate remedy.

                                Got this from Vondrack

                                We have had a very nasty day in Lego yesterday. Two of our members
                                went, without authorization of any kind, to "chat" with GS (Theseus
                                and Cort Haus). Discussed things and options that were not only never
                                discussed in our forum, but even discussed and expressly rejected. I
                                was just mad when I woke up and read the chatlog. I went amok and we
                                had quite a flamewar over this. Eventually, I received quite some
                                support from others, while they got virtually none.

                                So, our position in the war remains unchanged - and internally, its
                                support is even stronger than before, as one of those two left the
                                team (at least I think so, because his posts no longer bear the Lego
                                icon). Just that they pretty much screwed the effect of our "stern
                                warning" we sent just a day or two before. And GS now likely believes
                                things that are half-true or not true at all. Plus, they know things
                                they should not know (but not about LEF). Oh, well... we will have to
                                do some damage control in the next few days.

                                Take care,
                                Radek
