Panzer I doubt it, Pamploma probably had near 20 and now it has 13 or so + catapults. I'd rather have a vox view first. But right now I'm pretty sure its a hard nut to crack. However, RP did give us a nice gift. i'm hoping hits is a begining of a seize attempt and they'll send more and more. But perhaps when we get our next large group in the south there(7 are leaving this turn) we can take a vox view and see what we shall see.

For everybody's info. I calculate we will produce 13 more riders in the next 4 turns.

GS has three workers in their stack.
How long before they can build a road on that hill.

This will mean they can move a settler on it and build a city at the same time.

1 turn I think with 3 workers. But they'd have to have the settler nearby. I am eager to see if our scout is ok. IF he is we can do the same moves to see enemy dispostions.

Not on a hill. 5 turns for a worker on a hill; 2 turns for 3.

Currently I am planning on a barcelona attack and a Toledo attack. However I did the numbers and guess what, if we wanted to we could take Pamploma with 30 riders. Guess what we have 30 riders that will be in the southern theatre. The 10 rider TDF, and ther 20 rider Alamo force. I have not yet mentioned this to ND because I need to know the opinions of all. If it could be done, would it be worth the loses thatwould certainly occur. Or would it be better to stay the current charted course and take Pamploma after a seize after we have pretty much defeated the GS forces and have barcelona and Toledo.

I completely support going for Pamplona. It gets rid of a large RP/GS salient and will weaken RP immensely. Just imagine halving the spt of an enemy

On what basis do we think we can take Pamplona with 30 Riders? And are we sure we can hold it afterwards from GS?

I agree the thought of one quick swoop is enticing but gradual moderate victories that do not risk losing the entire war are more sound in my opinion. We can outproduce GS and Roleplay plain and simple. Going slow works in our favor up to the point that our GA is over.

We skipped the major battles and went for the underbelly and then waited. Waited for GS to get ancy and stick out their catapults where we could whack them. Now GS and Roleplay will be looking for payback which puts them at a disadvantage because we can heal, build and wait for their next move as we pulled ahead with the last conflict.

They are in the position of evening the score where as we are in the position to rack up points.

I don't think we've seen the last of a GS push either. Let's see what comes around the bend. They landed near whatever that wouthern city is, lets see where else they pop up and in what numbers. I'ld be willing to bet there are at least double the forces we are seeing in the south as well.

Let's retreat and see if they are fool enough to step off the hill.

Okay, I have been chatting with Roleplay people today and they have been curious as to the GS GoW conflict. Some of them have gotten info from GS.

Apparently we wiped out GS's First Corps (I somehow doubt this) but I am pretty sure that the troops north of the Alamo are there to provide defense for Roleplay Workers to build a road. Catapults can't enter a mountain tile without a road..........

someone must have set it and not posted it

Ghengis - there is no set pwd for gow_cofa because we don't want any team who knows the pwd just to come in when other teams are there.

Like I said i just want to gauge sentiment and get idea. The movement of force until the actual attack so no nned for decision yet. If we "wave off the attack" the TDF simply stikes out toward toledo and the Alamo force strikes toward barcelona or targets of opportunity. But perhap we can come up with plans and details for both attack plans. Like I said until we officially change the plan we made is still ineffect. Its just that the forces coming out of pamploma made me want to reevalute the situation.

Lets wait a few turns to see what happens then. Remember Lego will help with GS so we can concentrate more on getting rid of RP sooner.
