  • 170 turn Report

We attacked a pike and won, but no GL and Unortho is down to 1/5.
Move Ghengis and another rider into Alamo.
We produced 3 horse and 1 Rider and they were named appropriately.
I changed the build in Imperial City to Leo's.
    Sent 35g to Lego.
    Now the images.

I'd rather keep our riders on the road where they are currently. They can attack any landing point on the east.
Except for the part that is covered by the MI. Actually the only place I really fear a landing is near the capital. Thats where they could actually hurt us, though I see this as almost impossible to happen. Even in the unlikely scenario of taking an eastern city, they have accomplished nothing except to put troops where we can overwhelm them.

I think the thing I was looking for was that they would be able to move into Resolute and defend it, instead of risking that they would be able to overwhelm every unit in an invasion force.

They can still get into resolute. But remember with offensive units like these it is best have them attack their enemy instead of defending. for example on a hill it is 4:4.5 a 8:9 ration. but defending it is 3:4. roughly the difference is 32/27 so roughly attacking gives you 20% better chance, even if the opponent is on a hill. It is possible that the counter attack will fail, but with our production we can build even more units quickly and attack again. Ideally I'd like 10 unit to counterattack, but considering the current production abilities we are ok.

*** Hot_Enamel grumbles again about being taken off Darekills distribution list ***

I got the save.. but it went tomy hotmail account which I only check once every other week.

Feel free to take the Hillmans Pikeman for our Eastern defense. I dont think we have anything to fear on the ND border.

sorry, I can see now that they can move into Resolute if needed.

Pike on a mountain? Or did I move to the mountain after?

/me prepares to write of a clever ambush...

No, Unortho you showed those cowards who say we never attack strong positions. You just charged up that mountain right into those pikes. I don't recall the name of the pike, but can look it up if you want.

They are currently known as "the Dead Zealots" or "the Blood Red Zealots", take your pick.
