  • 150 AD Orders

    Here is the place for orders involving 150 AD.
    Here are some suggestions of my own.
    1) Lets change all pike to horse. Yes it will be 40 more gold, but well worth it/ Instead of a stagnant defensive unit we get a dynamic active, offensive unit, with retreat ability.
    2) Determine which cities go to ND.
    3) Lets begin planning for the assault and seige of pamploma.
    4) Keep in mind that in 4 turns we will need 280 gold to upgrade the first 7 horse to riders.
    5) Also will need about 76 to build barracks in Alamo(formally Salamanca)
    6) We will also need to fund Lego's research of GP.
    I figure the following income.(I assume we start at 0, to give a buffer for "special expenditures" ). We have and income of 120 a turn*3=360.
    -Expenses of 356 = 4 gold for Lego.
    This tells me it would probably be better for lego to take an extra turn to research GP. since at least through the first 3 turns our help will be limited. How much can ND give them. We need a chat to decide these matters and coordinate.(Also remember that we are 2 turns ahead of schedule for Invention, so we can spare a turn).

    If we are going to build a Barracks in The Alamo we can migrate the newly created Horsemen down there and station them in it, ready for upgrade.

      I think we should wait up north with the horsemen, as they're less likely to die up there

      Also GS and RP won't see our 'trick' so obviously.

      Anyways... my opinion only...

        I want them ready for combat the minute they upgrade. No point in waiting 4-5 turns to get them into the fray AFTER we upgrade. This allows us to attack Roleplay several turns earlier.

        Upcoming names for Horsemen heading to The Alamo:
        Sir James of Bowie
        Sir David of Crockett
        Sir James of Ewing
        and there's lots more, I don't think I'll run out of Texas themed names.

          As far as Im concerned, we can give all but the Alamo to ND. They will all be theirs eventually, right, plus it's less for us to defend...

          Besides, I like consolidating all those heroic forces that rode with me inside a single fort where we can celebrate our victories...

              I want to keep that road open so we have the opportunity to run down and whack the stack of GS if it moves on to the tile we pillaged. By my calculations our Riders can go down the road, attack the stack and retreat two tiles back down it to be out of sight of the enemy.

              We can whack 8-10 units and on their next turn all they know is 8-10 of their units are missing.

                -Please rename to "Alert"
                -Builds worker, please name "Ellesmere worker"

                -Rename Imperial Guard to Chinan guard. You can move imperial infantry out now.

                Kaifeng
                -Please rename to "Resolute"
                -Done worker in 2. EDIT - CHANGE TO WORKER

                Shantung
                -Please rename to "Yellowknife"
                -Work the wheat and game tiles (1,4)

                Port Isolation
                -Change build to Settler.

                Other Reccommendations
                -We are going to have to put numbers on the Imperial Infantries to distinguish between them. Reccommend restoring earlier numbers of Ist near Kaifeng, IInd in Camp Concord, and IIIrd near Chinan.
                -Don't gift Meridia to ND this turn unless the Roleplay pikeman doesn't move closer to it.
                -3 more riders done this turn. Reccommend moving them down with the other 2 in a stack of 5 through ND.

                  well it looks like none of my orders from last turn were carried out

                  we now have useless walls in Chinan instead of a useful worker.

                  what happened?

                    Panzer, the walls were done due to the appearance of ships off the cost. The others can be made to workers though.

                          Darekill was sort of complaining about the large list he had to send the save to. Ghengis said he would forward to everyone who doesn't get the save, but as Aggie said, he's apparently away this weekend.

                          Aggie - I thought those ships were on the south coast? Chinan is on the north :/ Well whats done is done and at least we have 4 slaves more

                            Yap, also looking back I think I did that in a preturn analysis of things and in my memory I thought I had. There was one ship that could reach a city near there. But when I first read it I think I was thinking of the further e city, not chinan. That was just a plain screwup sorry. But to make amends, I decided Dreadnaughtia should produce a worker this turn. It will only set back production 1 turn and with it full of food, it will recover(the worker that will be lost will be the ocean one), until it comes back. So that still gives us 10 production a turn.
