    Hi,
    here we go.
    Please accept Leon. You should gift it right back to us to swiths the pupulation into ND. If RP and GS can play dirty tricks we can do that too.
    If you end your turns you shoud try to entrench your troops if it is possible avoids having heavy losses.
    We just killed 4 Pikes and three Med. Infs in Z. butthere are some mor in it.
    Wel lat least we got those Pikes out. lost one Ansar though. A good price I think.
    I shot back a quick email telling him that the nationalities dont change .. Spanish will always be spanish unless the Spanish give them away.

    Also, I told him that the city will be open to attack by GS & RP as we cant put in any defenders

    I asked if he wanted us to abandon it ? His response was

    Yes i'm sure. We do not think that it will be taken by the Spanish. Even if the Nationalitis don't flip it would work as a decoy or give them to think at least.
    As far as i could see there were no fast troops close to leon. So it should be no risk and as far as i recall the'll be no cuture flip in the turn you get a new city.
    If you however do not want to take it or think that it is a bad idea....
    But it's empty right now anyway.
    I sent back another email asking if perhaps we should abandon it, rather than risking them taking it back. No response yet

      My only problem is we currently have a little leverage over RP and GS in that they have been switching cities to manipulate game mechanics.

      Doing this makes us look as though we have stooped to their level.

        I thought the same ... I would prefer we raze it ...
        It sounds like ND want to do it just to change the nationalities...which wont work.

        Per DK, they have no-one protecting the city.

        I am hitting the sack soon .. I suggest you contact him and say we want to decline or abandon the city.

        Probably decline, as there is no advantage it keeping it.


        PS.. make sure we get Vox to take a shot of Toledo
        And if ND need any snapshots !

            Hi Darekill,

            I have read the communication between you and Hot_Enamel. We are thinking that there is no real reason to switch the nationality of Leon because the people will not switch. If there is another reason, please say so because we are not going to accept it for no reason. If we did we would be stooping to the level of GS and RP, and if we do that we want this war to benefit in some way. I'll hold the save for you to respond.

              O.k. I thought it would at least cause some confusion to our enemys but if you don't want it then leave it be. That's just as good.

              Zaragossa you mean - thats what ND wanted us to take a pic of. Toledo is GS.

                    Ok after looking at the save here are the orders.
                    1) Attack Bilboa. That unit then goes to mountain e of toldeo.
                    2) all other riders in stack go to same point.
                    3) After consideration I have decided to keep the riders as a group and move them into port isolation. Any forces that land are useless anyway and when they move into the open we kill them. I am afraid if we move riders there it will make them not land. I want them to land in that general area so we don't tie down troops awaiting a landing.
                    4) ulitimately I do want the galley to do a recon of gs territory to see if a landing is possible, or at the very least tie down troops.
                    5) Also do NOT accept leon and inform ND that keeping it is important because it gives them a movement corridor that "z"'s cultural boundary will take up if it is abandoned.

                      I disagree.

                      Moving the riders to Port Isolation will alert RP of their presence. And likely make them not land.

                      Leave them there, then RP will likely land right outside PI in hopes of taking it. Then crush whatever lands with the riders.

                        I like the idea of suckering them into landing. I think the convential concept is that we have ALL of our Riders at the front and they have easy pickings in our Homeland.

                          we don't have enough $$ for shots of Zargoza AND Toledo.

                          Plus, Toledo is useless since GS can ship in troops in their turn that the screenshot would miss. If we take the chance, we gotta take it...

                          Zaragosa is probably going to cost around $100. Send em to Vox and notify ND to pay us back next turn.

                              Just hold on a minute; what if RP lands on the mountains? This is the reason I wanted to put the riders there.
