  • Do we attack GS' Roleplay cities?

    So... do we or not. Popular opinion, at least in the chat, has appeared to have shifted.

    Yes, there is always a slight possibility that ND and GS could be working together. Panzer32 wants us to let ND take Toledo and Bilbao and we only go for Pamplona with its 20+ defenders.

    That's moronic. We can't let ND have Zargosa, Viga, and Toledo. That's three huge cities near their capital that will have substantial production. If we want to stay a viable power in this game we have to fulfill our obligations to ND and fight in this war.

    I say we TAKE Toledo, then Madrid (I would raze Madrid - too much culture and a horrible city site), then either assault Pamplona or take Barcelona and the southern luxury cities.

      Hell yes.

      This gifting **** is out of hand. GS can kiss my ass.

      Take Toledo, AND Bilboa, then Madrid, use our new riders to defend north, rush more if needed.

      From Madrid, we can capture 1 cty/turn down the coast. RP seems to be holing up for a final stand in Pamplona. Let them. Leave pamplona, defend against outcomming armies, and focus on the GS attack. They can only build archers and spears in Pamplona once resources are cut.

      After the first one or two waves from GS, they wont have much offense left.

      I don't care about the research 100% or leos as much as I want to smack some GS ass right now.

        I do what the people want, that is why I am polling. My suggestion to get Pamplona is based on the assumption that we don't want to attack GS cities, which is currently wrong.

        BTW, Ghengis, why would you raze Madrid? It isn't in our territory (ND will get it).

            It was their capital for a LONG time and has a lot of culture making culture flip possible. It is also in a horrible postion being one tile away from the coast and lots of coastal tiles but no way to build a harbor.

              uhh... Ghengis, Madrid was disbanded. Look at its cultural borders. New Madrid was settled in its place.

                  Well the original plan I had was this. We avoid fighting GS and just build riders like crazy in our GA at which time i suspect we wopuld out gun GS. Ok that seems by the wayside. We attack GS but we do need to think of way to protrct against sea invasion. I sugeest ships be built.

                    I think we should let them land whatever, we attack them once they hit the ground. Their stuck for one turn and our Riders move 3 tiles.

                      the problem with building ships is that we don't have any productive coastal cities out by PI. It'll take 5+ turns to get any galleys in the area after we make them, whereas only about 2-3 for Riders.

                      Therefore I agree with Ghengis.
