Whoa, why in heck are we taking Bilboa? That's a stupid move. ND can beat us to Toledo now.

We could take Toledo and have some chance of convincing GS it was stupid of them to get involved, but if we take Bilboa its a war to the death with GS.

Ghengis, ND is NOT going to take toledo. They have even seen this plan. (they would beat us anyway if they were going to try)

do others think we should not take Bilbao?? It gives them a coastal city to ship units over if we don't take it.

They can ship units over regardless, they don't need a city to land units. What it DOES do, is make their obvious first choice for landing on Bob in the south with ND and NOT in the north with us.

Then we split our stack up (if only one rider) and can't attack Madrid with a full contingent.

Yes, but with a city then can land then move. If they just ship them regularly we have a chance at them first.

This means we publically announce that the city transfers are not aknowledged on the main forum.

Then we can destroy every city Whoreplay gives away.

I have some ideas how we should approach this with GS... but its family time now...when the kids go to bed, I will post my thoughts...in about 5 hours from now.

Before making any announcements, we need to figure out exactly when we are attacking the cities.

Are we attacking Bilbao this turn? Or are we moving S-S and attacking Bilbao and Toledo simultaneously. If we do not attack Bilbao NOW, I propose that we don't say anything until we do attack (just send a ditty to GS saying it is ludicrous not to grant an ROP or something). If they know beforehand were attacking them they can ship in troops to Bilbao (this is why I want to attack Bilbao NOW).
