I agree with the need for such informal chats, I would just like to make sure I know of them is all I am saying.

I also don't mind if you guys make a decision. No need to have ME be the only one...like I said, just want to make sure I know what's going on. With my presidency in the other game, my time may ba a bit shorter here, a quick note saying hey check the thread is not all that much to ask IMO...

    On the NAP, sort of...
    UnOrthOdOx,

Saturday 10:00GMT sounds great, I'll be there!

Thanks for ratifying the agreement, and once again, accept my apologies for the ongoing misunderstandment.

One more thing, about the Luxury deal- I havn't mentioned it before, as I wasn't sure how our team sees it, but now it seems we have the official policy: Luxury deals are basically indefinite, and can be cancelled at any time, without any consequences for either party. However, the party choosing to end the deal must give at least 2 turns of warning before he does so (most likely by a technical declaration of war), to give the other party adequate time to adjust their plans accordingly.

I hope you have no problem with this policy- after all, there's no reason why we have to limit ourselves to 20 turn deal as a result of the game mechanics (which I'm puzzeled at why they have to be so constrictive ).

    Cordially,
    Zeit.
Sounds more like they are attempting to wiggle in ways to declare war on us than remain peacefull...

      Just imagine the following:

ND is getting us to start the war as a ruse to get the majority of our forces well south, this also leaves GS free to attack, at war with RP, an ND betrayal is the final nail in our coffin.

I'm imagining, and I don't see much we can do about it. We have to take some risks in the game, or else we'll be so paranoid we can't win. I am currently willing to take the risk of an ND betrayal.

Anyways, if they do, me and my blockheads will apply for asylum on Legoland

I'm wit ya... save some space on the boat...

As I also said earler, we have to be pragmatic, always take the initiative. If we don't we'll just end on the receiving end and get killed anyway.

I say we go for it. If we end up being too paranoid about everything then there's not much we can really do.

I want no part of becomming a small civ kept in the game personally. If they get us, fine, let's go out kicking and screaming.

It is a risk, I know, one we must take. I just smell something brewing, that's all.

Something smells stinky .... But lets play it out.

What is our military advisor saying about RP..last time I looked, we were still "weak"

we'll be weak at least until we get all the horsemen upgraded. Even we might be still weak then.

The fear of an nd betrayal is part of the reason i am planning on the second wave of horse gathering at The Hill and an rop. Having these forces going through their territory(even if they don't know when they are being built) will cause them pause if they intend betrayal. remember in a case of such an act we will have a significant force se of them and can devestate and pillage a large area before they destroy us. If we mention second wave it will show that the heartland is not unprotected.

Actually, I am less worried about ND, and more worried about GS, and perhaps a RP & GS alliance.

Sure they hate each other, but GS would much rather a 3 nation Bob than a 2 nation one.

And RP will scream for help from anyone.
