        Some suggestions (micro-managing)

        Dreadnaughtica can use Macao's bonus grassland
        Skulgaria can move workforce from 3 to 5, for an extra 1gold ** this move would be for 1 turn only

              IF we inform GS of the Galley and deal we have with Vox maybe the Pikes can just sit out the war in a corner somewhere.

              Why was Macao placed in Skulgaria's city radius when it was supposed to be farther southwest and not share anyone's city radius except for one tile?

              We've lost the use of four tiles and two rivered tiles it would have had if it had been placed in the proper position.

              Anyang was placed where we lost the use of a tile AND the Whale resource.

              My suggestions:

              Anyang and Macao should switch to settlers so they can place themselves where they don't waste so many tiles and miss out on resources.

              Imperial City is fine, Camp Cod and Camp Concord are doing fine also.

              Settler in Port Isolation should move West.

              If you want me to play the turn I can, it doesn't look like that much has changed except for political and war predictions.

              Why are we scattering our Horsemen around like a used car lot? Are we puffing ourselves up to look dangerous?

                Both of those cities were placed in agreement with the rest of the team. We need closer city spacing to survive on standard maps. See http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=87948

                The whale resource isn't worth much in the grand scheme of things when there is a lot of hills and grassland around.

                Macao was placed where it was because one, it satisfies closer city spacing more, and two, it doesn't push into ND territory right away. Also with our deal with ND about splitting the continent - it looks like we will probably get the two northern ND cities as well as "Irongard".

                        Closer city spacing is only an advantage for the beginning. Our plan is to use as FEW cities as possible as the worst corruption generator is the distance calculation. Macao, our future capital is now squished with Skulgaria and they share 4 tiles versus placing it where SEVEN members agree to place it it only shared one tile with another city (an ND city). Placing cities closer together and yet farther away from the capital gives NO BENEFIT whatsoever.

                        Except it doesn't require mining, roading, or irrigation. How many hills are mined in the city radius? How many are currently being mined?

                          3 tile spacing is effective until sanitation. Until we get that, none of our cities will be able to use the majority of the tiles in the city radius. This is my reasoning for the spacing.

                          Also, about the mining, roading, and irrigation - I agree about the whales, that they're effective for the beginning of the city. The problem is that they would only be in the city radius after we build a temple, and by then we will have tiles that are improved.

                            -Accepted WM offer from ND.

                            -Port Isolation builds settler, starts on another one.
                            -Camp Concord builds Horseman, starts pikeman.
                            -Drednoughtica switched to use Macao's grassland.
                            -Skulgaria WF switched from 3 to 5 temporarily. Remind me to switch back next turn.
                            -Tatund production switched to worker.
                            -Imperial City WF tweaked again to delay production of the Great Library even more (57 turns of buffer = )

                            -Horseman from Camp Condord moves S-SE-E-SE-E-SE.
                            -XIX Sir Unorthodux moves SW-W.

                            -Moses roads wine.

                            -Ist Imperial Finfantry moves S-E-E.
                            -IIIrd Imperial Infantry moves to Macao and fortifies.

                            -XVII Mercenary Guard mives E into Port Isolation. All ready to go next turn.

                            -Settler from Port Isolation goes West, because that doesn't commit us to any plan as of yet.

                            -IInd Old Ironsides moves W-W-NW.
