      • Excuse me while I but my head in here, lots has happened since I was here yesterday

        A simple question:

Why are we giving GoW what they want?

        • My priorities lie in the west. Let's destroy the threats there, and then determine what to do at A6.

And let's not take chances east of SS.

What is it they want? War with us? How else can we respond to their invasion? They'd only start attacking our troops and capturing workers if we left them alone.

I don't think we have a choice. We can't realy leave those two horsies there.

              • No, but I agree with asleep that we need to offset any PR stunt the're trying to pull. Especially if it is combined with a breaking of our NDA deal

                • From the school of cypher..
                  Eli sent this via ICQ:

So... Why did you leave all your cities undefended just to protect Arashi?
Oooh I so want 50 WC right now, take out every unit they've got, then send them something like 'why do you start a war with no units' (Appu accent)

That was really my point. The option other than attacking is to let them attack us. We would still win but then they would be the treaty breakers.

Of course, I keep forgetting this is a flippin' game.

Who really cares about the justifications? RP-they want us down. Vox-hate us, ND-silent on every issue but will be the next to go in the game. Leaving lego, who is probably just laughing building towards a culture win.

In a game where everyones your mortal enemy, the pr aspect doesn't matter all that much. Kill the bastards and lets be done with it.

                        • oh, it would be perfectly okay to attack them, they are in our territory, no less. It's the deception of ND that they want to do that I don't agree with...

They're already the treaty breakers since they asked if they could land on our territory, we told them they couldn't, and yet they did it anyway.

What I would say, though, is that we don't want to provoke GoW (especially Ghengis, who can be very volatile) into launching an all-out war against us. Sure it wouldn't be a smart move on their part, but it would definitely make life very difficult for us.

                            • Asleep, believe me when I say that no team is prepared to loose in order to make sure/try we don't win.
We could well be at war with RP against Lego in a couple of weeks.

Quite ironic that Lego has the worst culture of all (equall with us)

We can't give them the chance to attack first anyhow (anyhow, they already broke at least 3 points of the treaty

                              • ICQ... ICQ...
I don't like ICQ. I discovered ICQ in 1997... abandoned it in ~2001. Instant Messaging is annoying. I have this theory that people think less about messages that they send via IMs than about messages that they post on forums or send via Email, because it's instant and the reaction time is near to zero. Communication is more authentic, but less to-the-point and less refined, and eventually more annoying IMHO.
I recently registered a new account (UIN: 165567858) and started a new, minimal contact list. Nowadays I only have conversations about relevant topics or talk to girls (which are nonetheless relevant).
Oh, and here's Eli's contact: 29442827. I dunno about adding him - if he suddenly sees that a bunch of GS members have added him to their lists he'll freak out!
