Turn of any proxies please.
Most IRC servers won't let users with an open proxy port (that the server can detect) into the network, because they suspect that the user might not be the owner of the originator IP address but someone abusing his proxy."Close your eyes, for your eyes will only tell the truth,
And the truth isn't what you want to see,
Close your eyes, and let music set you free..."

Can someone give me a step-by-step on how to join the chat using mIRC?The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

/edit: cross-posted with alva. Oh well, I prefer my way ... but they both work.
Load mIRC. When it asks you to connect to a server just close the window without doing anything. I find it easier that way.
Type:
/server irc.enterthegame.com
Then:
/j candle
then wait for us to invite you into the private room.
Is that good enough, or do you need it more detailed than that?If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.
