I once make'd a sound library on Linux for over an hour. Yeouch!
I'm sure Sir Ralph and nbarclay have done more though.

Btw, if/when we kill an immortal with a WC, I'd like the player to take a screenshot of that. And then frame it.

I'm home now and have the save open. I moved a WC up the road to see if Vox's regular immortal is within easy striking distance, and he isn't. I sent out a beginning-of-turn screenshot immediately after moving the WC there.

Regarding Vox's possible moves for their eastern immortals, I see three prime possibilities. One is that they're heading south on foot. A second is that the galley is picking them back up to head south. (We can't see it, but we couldn't expect to if they backed up to pick up the immortal on the mountain.) And a third is that the galley will take them back north in order to concentrate their forces. (Remember, they know next to nothing about Hurricane at present. And this is Vox, so there's no telling whether their moves will reflect good strategy or not.)

Is there anything else we want to do now, or do we want to wait until we get word back from GoW?

We could move the WC 6 to look what is up. If there's no Immortal in sight, go back 4 (that 1/3 left move point should suffice), if there is an Immortal, attack.

Moved 6. Mo the Morbid was there. We are now in our golden age!

And I got the shot. I'll include it in the next batch I send out, along with the shot of our entering our golden age.

Our first elite war chariot is 6-9 from the road, just south of Harry the Horrible, Vox's veteran immortal. We're at three hit points at the moment, so if Harry attacks, we should have a decent shot at retreating. We can't get to Harry, though, of course.

Edit: Corrected a typo in the location information

Hmmm... still a valuable elite WC is at risk. How about moving another (vet) WC on the same tile? If Harry attacks, we at least save the elite 100%, while the vet also has a decent chance to retreat.

Pyramids are now expected in two turns. I'm going ahead and switching the build now in honor of our great victory; one turn shouldn't make a difference.

We can actually get Feudalism in two turns researching at 90%; thanks to Vox's declaration of war, Hurricane is okay at 10% luxury spending (and that's before we finish our incense road at the end of this turn). If we play it that way, we can upgrade some spears to pikes earlier and then start upgrading warriors to medieval infantry to counter Vox's immortals. Won't it be fun for Vox if we have slow-movers with the same stats as theirs in addition to our WCs?

                      All praise to the RNG!

Good job, guys. Let's definitely get Feudalism ASAP.

Do we have the luxury of making sacrifices to protect an elite? On one hand, I'd definitely like to keep our elite safe. But on the other, an elite has a little bit higher chance of retreating successfully, and if we don't bring in a vet to take Harry's attack, we'll have three vets to counterattack instead of two (assuming we want to station all available WCs to go after Harry). That would all but guarantee that the threat to Hurricane will be eliminated for the moment, which in turn frees more swords (soon to be medieval infantry) to help out around Arashi.

It ain't over... this weekend is devoted to GS, and to the driving of Vox before us.

Any objections if I move our three regular warriors into Tempest and upgrade them to swords so they can go after Vox's vet spear if he threatens to pillage a road?

By the way, Arashi is now slated to get its barracks next turn, and can then use the following two turns to build walls. A hill city with barracks, walls, and pikes could be a tough nut to crack even for immortals.
