You're right, but a compensation is surely in place, don't you agree?
Vox's city is a fact, but they'll have to settle for less in someplace else, and i'm sure everyone realize that (on this team).

I don't think we can ask for any compensation, they warned us that in 7 turns (starting at the chat), they were going to have their fourth city settled. So we've got less then 3 turns to get it ratified, and ensure that Vox builds according to our plan. Most likely, they will be going for the Isthmus now, I don't think they realized how badly corrupted the wheat city would be.

BTW, exactly how much corruption is in that city? They only built 3 cities so far, so distance from cities shouldn't be a big factor, only corruption from distance is... the city will get more corrupted as they build more cities, as most of these will be closer to the capital.

Jon sent me an e-mail Thursday asking how things were going and I sent him the following response. (I've been meaning to post it in the Ambassador's Office thread but haven't gotten to it yet.)

About all I've been able to accomplish with the last version I sent was to
make the one we hammered out in chat look better by comparison. Sorry I
couldn't do better for you. There's still a faction that would rather just
REX it out instead of predefining borders, though, so the matter is still
under discussion. (But I think the faction that prefers the stability
predefined borders would bring - if the borders are in a location acceptable
to us - is larger at present.)
So they knew my earlier proposal that had the city where they placed it was not going to be accepted.

Since we know Vox got a settler past us and have no way of being sure what else came with it, I'd like to have our warrior shadowing Tim (on the Spinebreakers; I don't remember his name) move 7. That gives us a second, southern watch point to make sure nothing that came with their settler can sneak past us, and with new units about to be ready, staying in front of Tim is less important.

Agreed. That warrior isn't really blocking Tim, he's just observing it. That job can be done from 7 to its current location just as well. Plus, the new location will get us closer to the iron mountains, in case we'll want to use them as another lookout point until Vox settles them, or in case we'll want to pop another encampment without leaving lookout ridge.

What matters still need to be addressed before we can play this turn?

I played the turn as described. Moved the worker at the forest, since it seems, that we go for the GL project. Also, moved Zonk south, on the worker, as Arrian said. Next time, please, edit your orders in the first post. I don't have always the time to search in the whole thread, especially when it's longer than this one.

Well... I suggested that. And since I'm not in the army, I didn't edit it in...

Well, to be absolutely correct, you suggested it to General Arrian, and he should have edited it in.

                      Turn and screenshots sent.
