Though I'm not gung-ho for some of the recently proposed strategies, I'm not upset about the process, really.

I've always looked at my "influence" in GS as proportional to the time & effort I put into it. I was more heavily involved early with maximizing EotS's original builds & worker actions, and since then have dropped back into more of an advisory role. That's fine by me, and if I get overruled on something, so be it. I don't think there has yet been an issue that I haven't managed to at least comment on.

The border thing in the chat... well, it did come across (to me) as a bit premature, but overall Nathan's communications with Vox have been superb. I do think we should slow down a bit with the border negotiations (buy us some time) and really have this out between ourselves before agreeing to something of this magnitude.

Not to whine (too much), but personally, I feel like most every post I've made on this forum has been either ignored or marginalized.
That's something we shall have to remedy, isn't it?[/Braveheart]

Hmm.. i think i'd like to rise up to DeepO's challenge of managing our diplomacy for the time being, but as i wouldn't want to be so power hungry, (), and i don't know if i can commit myself for an indefinite period (or as long as Mesh is gone).
I'd much rather the chief diplomat in our current dealings with Vox (that is border treaty, tech sharing, and the talks about future alliance), and if all goes well i would continue, if now one else would like to replace me, or that Mesh return.

I think that now we are in a diplomatic state of emergency- Vox should be binded by agreements quickly before the calm and cooperative mood of its members wears off (i have to oppose you there, Arrian, time does not work for us on this one), so the intra-team discussion on the main matters with the diplomatic priority should be finished ASAP (with everyone's opinions heard first, of course) so we can come to Vox with the voice of the team (oops, i sounded like a Voxian there... ).

        Traitor!

I completely agree with your statement. Vox is apparently in a cooperative, almost submissive mood. Let us strike the iron while it's hot.

Well, thanks for the support DeepO, it is of great value (no ass kissing or cynicism here).
What troubles me a bit is the people lack of interest in the border thread you made, IMHO, it is the most pressing issue right now, along with the GL thingy as well (although we can delay decision on the former, while delaying the negotiation playes against us).

I'll post a thread concerning this, also announcing my new temporary position and post a few directives (gosh, i'm gonna love being an offical, )
