  • Minimap information extraction.

I tought this kind of thread is needed now that the minimaps are flooding in.

Concluding from RP's minimap, they are straight left at us, about the same height, over the sea, not so many tiles into the fog.

So, if the continent that we are on, is horseshoe shaped, they might be indeed in the same continent and met with VoX. Not likely, but possible.

RPs starting techs are Alphabet & Ceremonial Burial, so they might have traded CB to BW with VoX, if they are in contact.

Notyoueither would be rolling around in his proverbial grave, as he was the foremost anti-map trading pusher here. But things changed almost immediately after he left, and we're in a new quandry...

Are the minimaps posted in the Softhome address, or is there somewhere where I can get ahold of them?

    Thanks

Meshelic, I posted the RPG minimap in the Softhome address, and if I got your e-mail address, to you too.

Further, I just combined our minimap of 2710 BC with RPG's 4000 BC, and posted the result to the mailing list too. I'll update when I get my hands on other minimaps.

Sweet. I agreed initially with NYE, but the blocking of "the neck" changed things somewhat.

They do seem to be right in the middle of the map, hmm, I think I prefer being where we are.
We might start out slower due to tech trading, but once enough contacts are made we will have the advantage.
