Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Can our economists see if a civ goes into (or has had) their GA.

If so this might actually have some use

We almost caught up with VOX, and are slowly closing the gap with ND too(which was at it most 12p, now9p)

        not bad

Closing the gap with ND doesn't necessarily mean much. A new city adds around 30 to a team's per-turn score, but that has a bigger effect in the first turns after the city is built than it does later when more of that additional value is already reflected in the average. (Look at our score over the first nine turns and you get an idea how the curve goes, although the effect is less pronounced as the game goes on.) ND founded their second city several turns before we founded ours, so a higher percentage of its value is already calculated into their score and its effect on the score each turn is less. Plus, our score is still catching up from our having founded our first city a turn later and then had its borders expand a turn later. (Catching up 100% is impossible; the score closes in asymtotically, sort of like a hyperbola.)

Just looking at in a general way, it does say we're not doing badly.

This thing certainly doesn't say everything, but it is an indicator on how things stand, is it not?
