  • Exchanging quadrant/hemisphere info with the GoW?

I know this was discussed a while ago, but this was brought up again, and i want to give Panzer32 a clear answer about this, as i've dragging this issue for quite some time now.

I'd say yes to this initiative, as we've been isolating fot too long, and odds are that several other teams have already traded minimaps. So, trading general info can keep us in the game, in terms of global affairs, while minimizing the risk. And we'll have something to trade with other teams as well.

I pretty confident that most of you would vote against it, but i urge you to reconsider.

    option are:

1)Give it a chance! (quadrant or hemisphere- to be decided later).

2)Hell no! we can't trust them.

3)Let the Storm Bringer decide (Abstain)

I'm against it. We can't trust nobody. And certainly not the GoW, our worst enemy.

Not yet, zeit. Soon, if we meet another team.

We are either on an island, or close to contact. I would guess.

If we are on an island, it won't matter.

Once we have made contact, it won't matter either since that team will then pay more attention to our direction (which they would at an earlier point if they knew roughly where we are).

I really don't see the benefits outweighing the potential problems.

And to be different from the rest, I abstained. I stopped caring for it, I like the isolationist approach we are following now, and if we play for it I'm sure we will profit from it. OTOH we can't stay isolated too long... no clear choice for me, so I won't vote either way.

Is there some other way that we can engender positive relations? How about disclosing one of our luxuries?

I vote NO to any geo-sharing.

Okay, i thought this would be your opinions. At least now i can give a clear answer to the Gow.

                and a question:
Sir Ralph, why do you state that the GoW are our worst enemy? becuase GenghisFarb and Donegeal made childish trashy remarks about our team on several occasion. So far we've been treated fairly by their consuls, and the best course of action would be to exploit them, above alienating them.

With GoW you double the chances of going to war...
                  1. When they 'feel' like it.
                  2. When someone pays them.

==> as long as GoW does not where we are, no one can hire them either

That's a NO vote from me.
Again, I would be much more inclined to do this with another team, but not with Gow

Exchanging hemispheres can't hurt us and would give us something to tell other civs.
                      Are we having fun yet?

True, but why choose GoW, when other teams seem much more safer/better/lucrative for this.

If we're alone on an island then we don't want anybody knowing where we are.

It's too early to tell if this would be a good idea
