Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Deepo, it is as U.S. patch, so make sure you have a US version!!
No alternatives are availlable yet, I think

Or have two seperate installations
IIRC Trip has 3 different civ3 versions on his pC.

if possible, I'd like to avoid multiple installations on my pc, I'm easily confused, and don't want to cause any troubles by using the wrong game. So indeed, let's wait until the PTW DG shifts to the patch, so we can follow.

So... now that I got the GL, could you guys tell me if it was expected? I hope it pays off, so far it has been a real pain to build a wonder while keeping my military decent. I hope I can overcome the delay I got in settling cities, I'm getting tired of being 4th in population, score, and territory (and about everything else non-military). It was a gamble for sure, and one that caused many adrenaline rushes and second thoughts, but we're here
When I saw the Pyramids prebuild, I knew you were probably planning to switch, although I wasn't expecting you to get it quite this soon. (I was busy enough with other things that I never got around to digging into old saves to figure out when you probably started.) Realistically, the Great Library was your only hope of catching up in the tech race. The question now is, will the technological advantages it brings you make up for the economic disadvantages you had to accept to get it?
I hesitated for a long time between the pyramids and the GL, in part because of the discussion on this board. BTW, I started on this ages ago, around the same time GS was discussing whether Hurricane would be a wonder city or not, and in the middle of my first war with Alex.
Pyramids would maybe be better economically, but with the two of you not willing to trade techs to me (at least not literature, where I didn't make a bad offer, it could have saved you 10 turns), there was little choice... although I am still thinking on how to make the most of it. This was for me not a gamebreaker, but a way of not getting too much behind, at least I've now got half a chance to stay in the race.
Oh, and I keep all saves around, but have yet to reopen the first one. In my GS folder, it's easy to browse quickly through the screenshots, but saves aren't opened that fast... I should have kept screenies myself, it would certainly have made me a lot more effective
