    ROLEPLAY TEAM INTEL REPORT

CURRENT MEMBERS (as of this posting)
    Togas
    Thud
    ruby_maser
    oliverfa
    Ninot
    mrmitchell
    History Guy
    GodKing
    General Tacticus
    F-Pro
    dejon
    DAVOUT
    astrologix
    Arnelos
    adaMada

    POTENTIAL LEADERS

Togas -Likely 1st President, Founder of RolePlay Team. Has been Foreign Minister for C3DG for numerous terms, and has more than established himself as probably the most valuable diplomat out of all the teams. His knowledge of the game is surpassed by few, and his tactics are cold and calculated.
Thud Leader of Democratic Industrialists in C3DG, whose skill in builder strategies should have placed him on the Legoland team, but his recent interests border more of a warmongering nature. Probably will attain much power in his team
adaMada Deputy Foreign Minister under Togas previously, is likely to be one of the chief diplomats from this state. He has been known to be "too nice" to opponents sometimes, which may play in our favor. Has journalist skills and is well spoken. Also wrote part of the New Constitution (a VERY long code of laws for the C3DG)
Arnelos Possibly Meshelic's primary nemesis of the game (similar to NYE and TRIP). Keen intellect, fascination with details, and renown for the longest posts ever. Expienced in Presidential and Infrastructural Abilities. Is argumentative and unyielding.
GodKing Has much experience in city placement, building, and is always up on the statistics. Likely to be a huge part of the functionability of their infrastructure.

    GOVERNMENT STYLE
An experimental despotic/anarchaic government form where each member decides upon an 'alter-ego' of their choice. Political assassination, internal bickering, executions and exile (all done up in a roleplay format) are encouraged. While they may have some of the most experienced and best players, they also have the most chaotic government of all the teams. This could help turn the tables in our favor....

    CIV CHOICES
Have been outspoken on being the Carthaginians or the Spanish. Will compete with LegoLand for Carthage if neither withdraws their request for that civ.

    ROLEPLAY GOALS W/ ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION
Their goals are mostly focused on hammering out their roleplay universe within their civ, so you can look to them to be the more isolationist of all the teams. Togas, their leader has also stated that they will treat other teams fairly and honorably, so long as they are dealt with in return in the same manner. Their strengths are in diplomatic and military affairs. We can expect them to be a reliable ally in the face of opposition, should we treat them fairly and keep up good ties. Their weakness is their government and internal bickering, which they seem to view as a strength....

Former Chairman of Apolyton Labor Party

Alas I feel that their team is diplomatically too smart for that, and would probably see this as a probable threat to their existence, which I also don't think would go over well.

It's devious, cunning, risky and dangerous..... I like it. but doubt it's probability.

I say we ally with them- if possible of course. A role-play civ will treat us fairly if we do the same, and i just can't see the Togas-adaMada-Thud trio stabbing a trusted ally in the back, it doesn't seem to be their style.
And, as said about this team, their role-play nature and multitude of adapt players might lead to too much bickering and contradicted voices that might hurt their ability to focus their efforts against espionage and sabotage.

it's the bickering and stuff, that's makes them a liability, and thus not really the ally one wants IMO

Lego on the other is IMHO craving to have an ally, it might aswell be us. (all this depends on the map off-course, and other variables)

I think the affairs of each nation will end up stacking up like so:

Gathering Storm vs. A.I., Glory of War and Trip's Team

Glory of War vs. Gathering Storm, Trip's Team, Legoland and Roleplay team

                Trip's Team vs. the world

                Legoland vs. the warmongers

                RolePlay team vs. Themselves

                Or something like that.

(note 'the world' in Trip's Team objectives stands as anyone in it's way.)

(the 'warmongers' in LegoLand stands mostly as nations who deal aggresively with THEM, not with each other)

                (Roleplay team.....well no footnote needed)

Assuming a favourable map, if we could fashion a triple-alliance with LegoLand and RolePlay, we would be in the cat-bird's seat vis-a-vis Lux Invicta and GoW.

A lot will depend on the map though.

... on second thought, let's be careful about that. It could incite both LI and GoW to launch themselves fully at us while our not-so-warfare-inclined allies hold back on assistance due to builder priorities.

It bears quite a bit of discussion and depends quite heavily on the map.

We shouldn't count on any assistance anyway IMO.

we would be in the cat-bird's seat vis-a-vis Lux Invicta and GoW.
sorry, NYE, could you explain in other words, I don't know/understand it

We could off-course do the unthinkable and seek and alliance with Trip(LUX)

NO-one would expect this. Which makes it very potent.

That equation cannot be ruled out of course!

I suspect that as we are all humans, there may indeed be plenty of backstabbing, alliance-switching, multiple-wars going on. It's going to be bleedin anarchy. But it's going to be great.
