  • The Powers of the Grand Poobah

As of now, the only admin power each team leader has it to authorise a new member to join the team.

    In this thread:

Mark is asking what other powers the team leaders should be given.

The important ones are the power to ban, to cast out from the team. Another one with potential is the power to make other team members 'ministers'. The effects of making someone a minister are a bit unclear to me.

The third option, 'can add other members in this group' is a bit baffling to me, but Mark is not being entirely clear. I am sure it does something different from the authorize function.

He wants me to ask you, the team, which of these powers should be given to team leaders. I will wait until things are a bit slower before I ask him any hard questions.

i'll post this also in the public thread

    - banning: it doesnt mean deletion from the team but loosing the abilities of the member(access to team forum, participation in polls)
    - minister: just geting a cool star in the memberlist
    - ability to add members: add people in the team without them doing anything or needing authorization
