Does anyone have an email addy for Arrian other than mishlea@msn.com? That was his girlfriend's a while back, and the only one that I have... it's no longer active.

I'd like to check in with him just to make sure everything's okay.

The address for him I have is... rengland AT travelers DOT com

That is (was?) his work address. It must be well over a year since I communicated with him via e-mail though so it might be out of date.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

Another idea if that doesn't work: there's a link in his profile to e-mail him. No idea what address that goes too - it's hidden. Couldn't hurt to try it.

Thanks for the feedback, both here and via PM. I sent an email to the Travelers address.

I'm going to check to see if Master Zen has something from when Arrian registered at MZO.

            He's alive.

Went cold turkey on 'poly... my guess is the OT forum became a monkey on his back.

                    Party!

I am very happy to hear he is well.

                      He knows, I am sure.

I figure that Arrian is still a bit young, and is being 'serious'. Commendable, surely... but then you get a bit older like nye and me, and relax a bit.

EDIT: Written with the best of intentions and attitude.

It's always nice to know that those of us that have been away a while are OK
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

I'm touched by this thread. Seriously.

And T - I'm 28. I realized that I really ought to actually WORK occasionally. I was actually putting myself in danger of being fired - and it's really rare that somebody gets fired here.

Cold Turkey was the only option. I do owe an apology to the demogame teams I was involved in before I disappeared into thin air. Sorry about that, but I had to go. It wasn't just OT... that was part of it. It was mostly forums, period, full stop. I'm generally vunerable to timesuckage, I like to talk (write), and I love Civ. Thus Apolyton is kinda like a drug specifically designed for me.

My hope is that *this time* I can acheive more of a balance.
