Investigate Luxilou for 28g. I forget why I did this. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Oh yah. They can hit Monsoon from Luxilou without warning. I've used the Subs to verify that no other city on that part of the coast is at risk of being hit, and with no Transports in Luxilou, at most we could be hit with 1 Transport from Luxilou.

Perhaps we should try to talk to ND about this. maybe a limitation on Marine buildup would help ease the tensions if they can be eased... With MI not even ND can build enough Marines to break through in one turn. If they won't agree, then things become crystal clear.

Right now I am a bit worried that ND is only building the Marines as a potential counter-strike force. If that is the case then this buildup is needless. Certainly we'll be prepared as best we can, but if it can be avoided we should at least try.

Also no one can build Nukes until Space Flight.

OG and WW both have Civil Defenses.

There are 8 MI on the Fortress inbetween them.

          7 MI, 2 Tanks, 3 Artillery, 6 Bombers, 2 Fighters in OG.
6 MI, 4 Tanks, 4 Artillery in WW.
          4 MI in Bolderberg.
          5 MI in Monsoon.
4 MI on Monsoon 1. (the third tile ND could land on without warning, granted with only 1 Transport this turn.)

I've loaded up just about everything on Lego. It will take 3 turns for all of it to get back. 2 Transports (MI and Elite Tanks, and our one surviving Marine) will be back next turn, and 2 others (Tanks) the next. Our forces on Lego total 5 Infantry at this point. 4 in the harbor and 1 in RSE. we could land all our units into the harbor city next turn if necessary (and it's still there). I think in out and out warfare I'd prefer to have the units back on Stormia ASAP regardless though.

It looks like GoW is to 364 shields on it's UN build and ~90spt. That puts them at 8 more of their turns.

ND is at 126 shields and 126spt. That puts them at 7 more of their turns. They would beat GoW by 2 turns.

We need 7 more of our turns to finish the UN. ND gets their next turn first. We can't beat them.

We could use the UN as a perfect prebuild for the Internet though. By upping our research to 70% we basically break even on cash (150g from RP + 25g from Barb) and finish Miniaturization in 7 more turns. So ND would build the UN and we'd have to switch our build to the Internet.

How long would it take to invade, if we did so?
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Just woke up... my brain is a bit underclocked as well atm

ND on the uranium is a clear provocation. It is our only source, right? I suggest we send a firm message to them asking why they do this.

We've got to watch out with the UN prebuild: in case the UN gets build by GoW, the prebuild is gone, and we have to be out of mob to start the internet. So, we've got to offer peace 1 turn before that time, or destroy Lego in the same turn.

                      Diplomacy:

Offer RP New Inchon, Cape of Bad Weather, Leonid Point, Cumulus Ranch, Fort Spinebreaker, Windswept, Deluge, Cloudburst, Thunder Peaks, Dust Devil. Also Radio.

This will mean we don't have Oil at the start of next turn. Not a problem as we can pillage our Oil and rebuild the roads to break the deal giving away our Oil. I would rather not have the Fortress there anyways.

At the minimum we need 7 turns to get the Transports ready. Not sure how many Marines we can get together in that time too though.

ND is still running 90% reseach, so normally next turn we won't be bombed by nukes. I thought ICBMs came from space flight, while tacts came from rocketry? Or didn't I read your post like it was intended?

Further, the 6 CVs of GoW: It's easier for them to build more CVs, then it is to sail their existing ones to our coasts. More CVs gives them more mobility as well: by creating a couple of groups all around Bob, they can hit Vox, ND, and us, without spending resources on bombers.
We only have one defense for this: fighters. Which we thoroughly lack right now... I hope these will become priorities soon (I agree Navy is more important)

ND might have been there as a sort of retaliation for our Elite Tank being on "their side" (or at least GoW's) after taking out the Barb camp. The Tank was on a source of Saltpeter... that's important stuff!

Otherwise it doesn't make much sense. If ND is coming for us and doesn't care if we know, they would have just pillaged it and fortified. If they are coming and wanted to hide their intentions as much as possible, why give such a clue as to their agression?

Tacticals come with Space Flight. ICBMs with Satellites.

And flight? If I remember correctly, this is the turn in which we are free to trade it around!

Ermm... forgive my sleepiness, but why? RP is receiving oil from us right now. They will get their own source at the start of next turn. So immediately the deal gets cancelled, and we get our own source back, no?
