    A couple of questions:
    - do we need the UN?
    - can we somehow sell Computers to Vox?
    - why are both ND as GoW so ill-defended?

As to the resources: we better have the monopoly on aluminium... it would be cool to control the only source on Stormia. And that might give others the idea on what a lack of resources costs.

I don't like that number either. I don't like that number AT ALL.

I would rather have the UN than not. It probably isn't terribly important, but if ND were to build it and take out RP, Vox and Lego could vote for ND and we'd lose. It would give both teams an avenue for having the last laugh on us. I personally wouldn't want to win diplomatically as I think it would be a cheesy victory, but I certainly don't want to lose diplomatically either.

We could use the UN as a prebuild for the Internet too. It would be timed perfect if we ran a bigger deficit for a few turns or pulled back production in Tempest or WoC.

I'm not sure we have a better thing to build right now in Tempest. Our Military is... getting rather large. Our MI quota is almost met and that is what Tempest is set up best for. Mostly we need more Navy and Airforce now. Tempest can help with planes, but with EotS on 1 turn Bombers we don't need a lot of help, and Fighters would be better to wait for Rocketry.

8 more Transports and they can cart off their entire land force!!

There is another option for Tempest, but as I said before it is my least favourite one: building SETI in Tempest. It is the best city for this, but I find it way too expensive.

What about this compromise: start on the UN, but keep an eye on other civs building it, and in case none are close (we can't rule out prebuilds for ND, of course) we build the Internet instead. If others are building the UN, we can always finish it sooner.

I know it's not ideal, as you are right that others building the UN would be one of the baddest things to happen to us, but we most certainly can't afford to lose the internet. It's the only really important wonder left, possibly even bigger then Star Wars (which we'll never reach)

Indeed. There is one more number which is problematic: GoW has 27 transports. They never used 27 transports on the Lego side, did they? Which means that even if the largest part of their transports might be out of position, they've got quite a couple of them which might be right off RP's coast.

Aeson, very small reminder: you haven't posted the battle report of this turn yet. Not that it is a long one, but one carrier down is one carrier less

Our rivals' Marines and Trannies capability is certainly discouraging. Have GoW built more Marines since the decisive battles on Lego? If so, we're in trouble. In fact we're probably dead, as we cannot resist GoW-ND if they are already committed against us.

GoW would be foolish to build more marines, before they've got plenty of infs/MIs. We know that if they team on us, we're lost. We are not Lego, who believed right up to the decisive turn that they could escape unharmed.

If we are attacked, there is no chance we can defend everything on Stormia, which means that one of 2 major options is to near-empty Stormia, and take the fight to Bob. With their defenses, we can settler-blitz our way to at least one of the Bobian capitals... they are not going to risk that. So, unless more defenders are built, we're safe for invasion.

Don't forget that in taking the war to their side when attacked, we lose little of our defensive capabilities. Our first line of defense is very likely going to be isolation of certain areas, defending against blitzes (which we can do, at least until MAs appear). Isolation doesn't require marines or tanks. So when we start to feel threatened, we only have to move a couple of transports in range, or at least out of sight so GoW/ND think they might be in range.
