Turn 246: 1280AD

And first turn played
The fighter shortrush in Blizzard was a good idea, haven't hought about it.
Position of transports: I'm guessing that the likliest spot to find the ships, is at the edge of the polygon you drew (drawed? Is that verb irregular or not?).
Further:
- where is the CV? I take it it can't be spotted from the land.
- where is the sub that sunk the Nina? (might be a bit to the South of what we can spot)
- Where is the other group of transports heading?
MMing: I'm not 100% sure, but you've got a difference in EotS compared to what I had, I was most of the times stuck at 102 spt, sometimes 104 spt, but never 106 spt. It could be needed for Hurricane, I think the reason why I switched around with these numbers was that Hurricane gets more beakers out of a commerce, and the best production tiles are also the commerce richest tiles.
OG: I remember it as 30 spt after corruption (can differ now, as it will be in WlTKD). That was better for the civil defense: a short rush to knight when at 60 shields brings eta down with one turn. Same happens with the 32 spt, of course, but perhaps there is a way to send 1 spt to WW instead.. 24 spt is very lossy.
diplo:
- WM to RP: yes, we do this every turn.
- Computers to GoW: they didn't get the report from us last turn, right? They already played before I wanted to send it to them on new years eve. Did we ever ask UnO when he wanted computers? It was MZ that asked for a delay, UnO might not be in the know.

Didn't realize Hurricane would make better use of the commerce.

OG was at 30 spt before WLTKD, 32 after. I can short rush to 60 next turn and the Civil Defense build will have a surplus of 4 shields. Or I can short rush to 90 next turn or the next and the surplus will be 2. Or I can short rush to 60 or 90 then switch a Desert to WW and Coast to OG to get OG to 30 shields and WW to 28 spt and WW will have no surplus.
Another option would be to give the Hills to Tempest so it's at 110 spt for 1 turn MI builds. This gives a Plains tile to EotS while Tempest's food holds out at -1fpt. OG could be at 24/28 with WW at 22/18. EotS can be at 100 spt when it gives the Furs back to Hurricane. That gets Hurricane to 66 spt which isn't very useful though.
By fooling around a lot from there I can get this lineup in the South:
- Tempest 110, -1, 1 turn MI, no waste
- EotS 102, 0, 1 turn Bomber, 2 waste
- Bolderberg 60, 0, 2 turn DD, no waste
- Hurricane 56, 1, 2 turn MI, 2 waste
- Tornado 50, 2, 2 turn Sub/Tank/Fighter(Airport by short rush to 110 MI), no waste
- Typhoon 50, 5, 2 turn Sub/Tank/Fighter(Airport by short rush to 110 MI), no waste
- Cyclone, 11, 10, 1 turn Workers or 3 turn Settlers, 1-3 waste
- Sufa 1, 2, whatever
- OG 30, 2, 4 turn DD, no waste
- WW 24, 0, 5 turn DD, no waste
Not sure if I like cutting every build so close though. Pollution could wreck havoc..

Perhaps they hope to sail around and help out ND/Vox if/when they need it? I wouldn't mind if they landed on Stormia in a few turns (earliest they could make it if they doubled back) as we could use some shots at leaders, but unless GoW/ND are landing at the same time Lego probably won't do it.
I'll swap things around to get it closer. I think I just swapped a Fur to EotS as Hurricane would still have enough for a MI that way.
My thinking was that with pollution factored in it was more likely to get the 1 turn Bomber from EotS, with no great option for just under 100spt. If pollution hit Hurricane it could still finish off a 2 turn Sub instead of MI.
I don't mind the margin, especially now we don't have a backup in EotS for when pollution hits (airport is done). Perhaps a civil defense could be backup...
However, there is another option: EotS is running a food surplus, but in very few turns its going to grow. Either you build a worker at the precise moment, or you mine a irr plain or something close, and get to 104 spt, or 106 spt without using the furs. It could mess things up with the shield count in Tornado or Typhoon, depending on what gets built in Cyclone.
Didn't realize Hurricane would make better use of the commerce.
Next time, take a look at science output... Hurricane is our second city, but can't grow without cutting into EotS. Tempest, with its gold hill, the river, and Newton is our best science city. If it can grow, it should. If one of the 2 desert cities have to gow to give it room, it should. WW could be abandonned, and nearly all its tiles could be ditributed to the three closest cities... OG can surely need them, as can Monsoon. And it helps WotC in corruption as well.
BTW: Tempest is also one of our best money cities, yet it lacks a bank...
Right now, there is no problem. I was looking in the future... 20 spt would be nearly as good in this city, but it might help OG.WW was at 22 spt before WLTKD, 24 after. It's at 90 total shields towards a build now. 24 puts it at 114, so a MI build isn't too bad this turn. Then it can be put on 5 turn DDs. Other option is to short rush to a Tank, then switch to DD or Civil Defense. Same shield loss but we could use the DDs sooner rather than later I think.
OG was at 30 spt before WLTKD, 32 after. I can short rush to 60 next turn
No you can't... there is no 60 shield build in mobilization. 70 is closest... a knight.
Tempest: can it just add a citizen to the hill for 110 in mob? Ideally, we want 100 spt without mob, something we should be able to get even without a nuke plant.
If Tempest grows by 2 citizens, we're winning on multiple fronts... Newton again.

- Tempest 110, -1, 1 turn MI, no waste
- EotS 102, 0, 1 turn Bomber, 2 waste

- OG 30, 2, 4 turn DD, no waste
- WW 24, 0, 5 turn DD, no waste

The problem lays in the South. You can get both Hurricane, EotS, Tornado and Tempest into comfortable shieldcounts (where most of the times, 1 tile pollution can cost you food but not the build eta), but there is a price: Typhoon needs to get from ~50 spt to ~33 spt.
The end of mob changes a lot, and that is going to happen soon enough...
BTW, I'm sure you have noticed already, but SA can get some shields from D-ville, so it can get to 80 spt, perfect for art or fighters.
