Friday till Monday, I will be out of the country again (short trip to Spain). I hope the save will arive here on tomorrow evening (Thursday), in which case I can still play it... but most likely I will miss one in the weekend.

CH, Can you replace me? And, do you need any more info in order to play? I'll try to go over the last turnthread, and anticipate some stuff, but you know that much in this game is decided whenever the turn is played...

I am at the British Grand Prix this weekend, and have to travel for work next week. I will be around early on the day on Saturday, though. Next week I have to travel for work.

Between now and then I have band rehearsal tonight and a gig on friday, so I can try and study the latest save and turn notes on thursday night, though that might be too late for feedback as you are away on Friday.

So with only a few hours available in the next 10 days or so I'll do what I can, but if anyone else is more available, that might be the only way to get the turn done in time.

    Enjoy Spain

Oh, and enjoy the GP, band rehearsel, and work travel, CH!

If nobody else can do it, I can play the save this weekend. I guess I'll just look at the prior turn thread and try to keep doing what we've been doing, right?

I hope the save comes in today, though, because I haven't played a GS save in so long I feel totally out of touch with our empire.

I too hope the save arrives today, and not tomorrow... otherwise there are probably going to be 2 saves I miss. Not that I don't trust you guys with the save, of course, it's just easier to keep under control when one player keeps his attention focused.

But yes, just keep doing what we have been doing, normally there is enough material in the last (or 2 last) turnthreads to cover most things. Only this save, with the loss of WLTKD in case we don't hack into the city view is a bit tricky, but nothing extra-ordinary problematic.

In case a save arrives on Sunday evening, you can keep it for me: I'll be available from Monday at around 9pm GMT. Porbably totally exhausted, so I wouldn't mind no save in my in-box, but I will surely check

BTW, something a bit unrelated: in case we continue on this speed, I'm going to miss the invasion of Lego! I'm on holiday the first 2 weeks of september... diving in Thailand again. I sure hope the invasion starts either before, or after that date!

You would go diving over a massive amphibious invasion!

You are truly a normal person!

(And yes, that is an insult )

Help! Does this mean if I play the save, I must "hack into the city view" to prevent the loss of WLTKD? If so, what do I need to do to prevent it? Is that info already in the last turn thread?

the last turn thread is actually the one to be replayed, and yes, it is present, I think.

The idea is that the moment the first unit is built (Cyclone, worker), you go into city view, and cycle through all the cities, making sure the new silks is present everywhere. I'm not absolutely sure just cycling is enough, it might be needed to make one entertainer, and put him back on duty.

Doing so will cicrumvent the bug where the new silks (which only replace the old ones) aren't registered.

Oh and Arrian, relax... the whole turn has been logged, in case you don't get the same results, you can always exit, and start again with the save.

Maybe best to go over the last turn thread, and to see if anything is unclear... now I'm still available for help

I went over the log, and it seems most stays the same. I'm assuming Tempest will again be hit by pollution (if all the other teams have replayed it exactly, it should), in case it needs the short rushing. OG can stay on transport, and doesn't need to be changed to destroyer. And EotS can do the same as in the log. It could also rush to rifle before being set to a PS, but in that case SS would be less ideal... so just repeating what I did last time should be fine.

I'll do one thing, though... attach the last foresting map. That's not important for this turn, but perhaps for next (which it looks like I'll miss, although yuo never know). One second, I'll dig it up.

My apologies for not having given a proper absence notice/warning for the last three weeks or so... RL has been f*cking with me badly.

I am back, though, and with a vengeance... I quit my job to deal with family and personal issues... and this! I even cleared it with Amy that I'll be devoting a lot of time to GS in the near future.

And in the interim, if you remember I had had a home computer melt-down... well, I got a fairly hot new rig, so I'm more inclined to load saves for planning purposes and whatnot.

Sooooo... let me catch up, and contribute where we need it. I can already tell you guys have been doing a tremendous job... but again, give me a few days to catch up here and in the forums in general.
