One thing I've been wondering about is how you would feel if you were kept to a 1-city nation for over 100 turns... that has to be the most frustrating thing to keep going: knowing you have lost (which in itself is no shame), and still required to show up every day to play a pointless turn, for somebody else's pleasure. You're even better off out of the game, I think.

Plus, don't tell me you're not enjoying the power it gives to watch all the teams discuss stuff in their forum... I know you too well for that

BTW, does anyone share that same old problem with me, of not being able to enter the 'poly irc server? "Closing Link: 0.0.0.0 (invalid username [DeepO]"... how many times have I seen this already?

okay, no chat with GoW for me... throttled again. That's nearly an hour that I tried to get in, and it doesn't tell me how long right now, but I guess I've got half an hour throttle this time. Just clicked a bit too late

The only reason I would want to stay in the game would be to build up a force of Sipahis and let all hell loose on somebody.

Better than not being involved at all? Yes.

It's better to know everything having experienced it yourself than to get it all for free. Power is nothing unless you've fought your way to the top and earned it.

Unfortunately I was at band rehearsal last night - had I been around I could have gone for the GoW chat - I don't get connection problems (I use mIRC). I can try tonight / at the weekend - what's on the agenda, DeepO? Your PM to MZ covered the points - I guess we're looking for their response, right?

more or less, yes. But above all, we need more contact with them, to start coming closer together. Plus, we need to discuss our plans: 40 turns is not that much, and Lego will certainly know something is up when all of a sudden nobody trades with them anymore.
