  • Turn 173 : 580AD

    Woo-Hoo!

GoW send 300g unnacepted. We can send Physics accepted!

    Cyclone builds worker, starts another
    Tornado builds Library, starts Courthouse

  • #2
The tile just chopped did have a bonus shield after all. Mined.

Typhoon gets a worker added, but needs a harbor to get above 8 - but Tornado hits 12 next turn and can hand over the wheat at Typhoon-99 to enable size 10. So library it is.

Suffled WF in Diss and Santa Ana to shave a turn off Santa Ana's Aqua (down to 2) then short-rush Knight (136g) for Library in Diss next turn. 'Hope that's not too lavish, folks, but 'Diss city's goin' places!

Probably a Courthouse next, then Marketplace.

                  Embassy with Legoland

With the GoW money on its way, 82g for an Embassy in Legopolis proved irresistable.

Wow! They've got SEVEN luxuries. What scabs are ND supplying Lego with FOUR luxuries? [Texas]Man, oh man![/Texas] GS and RP are the only Civs on the board trying to slow Lego down.

Sistine in 9 turns (or is that Smith's?) - same as our 'Pernies.

90% tax, 10% Science. What's this - are they funnelling Vox cash to enable higher Voxian research or something? Or maybe timing for Economics? Er, haven't done a beaker-count lately :guilt:.

                  3 SP. 3 Iron. 3 Horse.

They don't even have to clear their jungle till Sanitation. Hah! What can a Stormian do with a hospital except require his enemies to bring more Marines?

I can't understand how it was so cheap - investigating their other large cities costs twice as much. Probably because the map is already uncovered.

If any civs really wanted, they could (perhaps collectively) spend money investigating the other cities and uncover much more of their map.

We can do what we want with this Intel, can't we? Why don't we give it to our friends RP and GoW?

I sent it to RP, but I'll wait to see if there are any objections about sending to GoW. I don't see why not.

not from me. It shows how dominant lego could be if we aren't careful, hopefully they will see the danger.

I'm suprised they would be able to scrape that up.

I wonder if lego has given them any money to purchase it, and thus reduce the cost.

                            Good work, Cort.

Damn, that's a nice place Lego have there. Every citizen in that city is happy. It looks like one of my UP games.

As for sharing the info with GoW... I wouldn't bother. GoW is in bed with Lego. It's ND that might find that information useful.

grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

ND are still in the same bed, judging by the screenshot. What has Lego bought 3 extra luxuries from ND with?

The gold is interesting. Could Lego have raised the money for GoW? Or was Lego researching Physics and our discovery allowed them to get the last turn at 10%?
