Sorry it took me a little to get back to you. I'll be frank as always. I am not really an expert at tech trading so I had to confer with the others before responding.

Anyway, GoW agrees in principle to the arrangement. As such, we will be sending Chemistry along this turn accepted, but understand that further compensation still needs to be negotiated.

Sorry for being unavailable for a chat this weekend. I got too involved with one of the many other demogames that I'm involved with.

Hi MZ,

I got a PM from UnO saying that the Chem-Physics deal was on, and that Chemistry was being sent this turn. However, we didn't recieve it so we're a bit unsure where we stand and can't start the research on Physics.

If we hold off research for another turn, we run the risk of not recieving Chemistry next turn either. We have made several attempts so far to do a deal for Chemistry - all of which came to nothing - so you will understand our concern.

Actually, it's not too bad if we wait and they do send it next turn, we'll have another 285g in the bank - totalling some 680g, I think. That's a couple of marketplaces in the new post-aqua cities we want to grow.

So, the cost of not researching for one turn would have it's compensation. Ig GoW are trying to mess us about and don't send it next turn either we just research it 4-turn. We actually budgeted for 5 turns if not 6 in our estimates, so it should be OK.

We have some low-shield cities about to expand in pop which could use some help getting marketplaces up. With chemistry's devaluation we can afford to harvest gold for one turn and then take it in four turns if GoW still don't send.
