  • Turn 164 : 490AD

I'll spell it right this time.

    Start

ND offer Ivory, replied with Incense accepted. We'll get about six size six cities into WLTK when that comes through in two turns.

Eliopolis goes WLTK & builds Temple, start Library at 5spt.

Sandstorm builds Settler, start Worker : MM'd for growth and worker in 2 turns.

    WoC builds Temple, starts Courthouse

    Borders expand N. of Diss

Science can be pulled back to 50% for +45gpt and still get Banking in 2 turns.

    Moves

Galleys move to form San Diego's naval shield for RP's homebound galley.

Settler from Sandstorm moves towards OG

WoC WF to mnt, so Inchon can use the 2 bonus grass tiles and get 3 spt +2fpt.
Inchon needs 3 food to grow, so irrigate Inchon-33 for this turn only - remine next turn. Move another worker to Inchon-33

2 wrks move to Inchon-6 ready to road Inchon-99. Border exp from Eliopolis is coming.

4 workers join fortress detail on Inchoff's Iron

Galley disbands in Typhoon, other heads to Typhoon.

MM Bolderberg for 11spt and temple in 2 turns.

2 workers get ready to Irrigate BB-3 for 10spt in BB if OG loses hill.

      Current Builds

      Temples : EotS (1), BB (2)

      Marketplace : Tornado (1)

      Aquas : Monsoon (1), Sufa (3), Blizzard (4), OG (4), Diss (8), Typhoon (9), Santa Ana (14), Inchoff (18)

      Harbors : Whirlwind (2)

      University : Arashi (6)

      Worker Pumps : Cyclone 2-turn, Sandstorm 3-turn.

Prebuilds : Hurricane (Copernicus in 18), Tempest (Newton in 19). BB can start Magellans at 9spt after Temple. We could even consider skipping the temple, and nerfing OG a bit get 10spt.

Up North : Eliopolis - Lib in 16, Inchon - Harbour in 37 (will get more spt soon), WoC - Courthouse in 20.

Can't see any good cand for shortrushing atm (considered temple via cat in BB, but decided to save gold. We'll have 83g +45gpt for two turns. Perhaps rush a northern building, or save to run research deficit.

        Trade

        {EDIT: In fact GoW may well have Chemi - but they said they've got Astro already which they've not got on the F4.}

Apart from ND going for the 2nd lux, which will make our size 6 cities very happy (until the aquas), GoW say they have Chemistry to trade. Not yet - according to the F4. Meantime, I think we should offer them Banking for it, which we'll have in 2 turns.

Re: short rushing... it only makes sense if we have some gold to spare. We have a very low reserve right now, so I agree it wasn't a good idea to short rush in BB. Once we build up some more cash, though, it may be worth our while.
