They've already built temples, though this will take tiles off Eliopolis. Also they've pointing down the barracks / pike route rather than cats. However, they have asked us what they should build, so we could still suggest alternatives.

They're on 40-turn research, with 30 turns left on Banking. This means they're piling up gold and won't be researching as we'd hoped and expected for a while yet.

Why not let us handle the seawall for the moment, with them slowly taking it over but rather mostly focusing on infrastructure building?

They can pay maintenance on our units.

Well, I think we'd quite like the units for our own sea wall - and to be able to mount a little expedition perhaps should the opportunity arise.

If we wanted them to switch sooner to insfrastucture we could still do so, but I suggested they churn out some cats, using their gpt to speed things up. They could have half the wall covered in 10-12 turns.
