We´d appreciate it a lot if you and/or other GSians could join us at the Irc Channel for military operations that has been preestablished. If possible, I´d ask of you to be in there as soon as possible, since we need to play the savefile now.

I responded, explaining that I'm at work now, and won't be home until at least 7pm (probably more like 8pm) Eastern time, and furthermore that I never did figure out how to use the chatroom.

He requested that I post his request in our forum so others know about it.

I don't have time to figure the transit costs, but I told them about it, esp. in lightof us having to ship all war material south.

1. Download Mirc

2. connect to apolyton server

3. in the join box, type "#milops right" without the ""

that should get you in.

If you click on that apolyton chat thing at the top of the page, it should give you a short tutorial on how to connect with the poly server.

I'm am quite the novice as well, so I can't remember what to do exactly and it took me 5 tries to get the password in correctly

I've tried connected to irc.dal.net on various channels (like I know what that means), and can't connect.

Ah, ok.

Under MiRc options, connect

IRC server: apolyton


That should, should do it. then type the room and password in the join box.
