    prebuild palace in elipolis, then turn before would build fp, disband arashi, switch eli to fp. biuld settlers and workers to whittle down the arashi population, then rebuild a on the spot.

        Why were the southern troops not positioned as discussed?

        If we mean to use the stealth settle as a forward post (Barca4441 ?), why was it not moved towards the desired position?

            I thought I did move as discussed. We pushed a few pikes forward.

            When we split the workers from the stealth settler, we will have to defend both stacks.

                    I am (provisionally) naming the hill at Barca 4441 "Fort Liberation" or FL for short.

                    First, fortify a Pike at each of FL 6 and 2.

                    Move the three other Pikes to FL.

                    Move all local Knights to FL.

                    Move the three Workers and the Settler to FL 6.

                    I forget exactly who I moved from where, but I ended up with:

                    * another unfortified Pike at FL 3, a Pike and two MedInf (all unfortified) at FL 6

                    * 4 Pike, 2 MedInf, and 4 Cats at FL 69

                    * 2 Pike, 3 MedInf, and 4 Cats at FL 63

                    (I obviously used the two vet MedInfs from Barca 7)

                    Other thoughts:

                    * Somebody has to get Pikes onto Toledo 11 and then 111... and Toledo 6 would prolly be good too.

                    * I don't really care much about the ND MedInf northwest of Toledo... it's not a very meaningful position.

                    * Getting roads built at NM 14 and 111 would be smart.

                          After moving the galley 4, the enemy have 0 troops in range of FL 6 3. We can leave a single pike there. That gives us an additional pike.

                          btw, could you fill me in on what we do once we reach FL ahead of our settler and roads?
