Last turn we got no info, or very little from RP. We should do better.

OPD, you are the emissary to RP. Can you keep on top of this? Watch for them to receive the turn, then hunt Togas/Arnelos/BigFree/Dejon and get shots and reports on what is going on?

That would also be a good time to let them know that action is imminent that may give them some good news. I am sure we do not want to leak it before GoW sends the turn on.

euh... is there any reason why our pikes in the flats aren't protected with the pike on the mountain? the knights can be reached by the ansars, the pike can't... and with so many ansars nearby (not forgetting the riders), they could very well take a shot at the knights.

Or are those bait, and are there a bunch of MIs beneath the pike?

Something else: can we help RP, by e.g. putting some pikes on the forest between them and GoW? They can still hold off ND, but if both teams band together, they cannot hold...

Yes, putting some of our pikes at Pamplona-1 sounds like a good idea. They'll eat up at least as many rider attacks as we have pikes, and probably more than that, since they'll probably win some battles.
GoW probably lost at least one rider attacking RP's mountain pike, so that's at least good. Furthermore, the rider that killed the pike cannot attack next turn, and probably won't attack the following turn either since it'll need to heal first.
At worst, next turn Pamplona could face attacks by 10 ansars and 10 - (number of GS pikes on P-1) riders. I think that the two GoW riders that broke off at the northeast of Pamplona did not make it back yet due to the jungles, so we can chalk off two GoW riders.
So if ND & GoW decide to attack this turn rather than wait for ND's MIs to get in range, RP can hold fort, as well as cause heavy damage to GoW and ND's attackers and have 9 catapult shots at them the following turn.

I would also like to bring any knights we can spare from the Valencia force to the Pamplona theater, as well as some foot units.

Shiber those 2 riders most definately made it to Salamanca last turn... they went off to the West, so that in using NDs roadnetwork they could reach Sal... but there are no 10 other riders, but 9, making the total to 11 max (most likely less).

The problem with those pikes on the forest is that ND could also attack, and GoW could attack and retreat. If they are not planning on attacking soon, those pikes are just cannon fodder. However as you said, they could delay an attack if one would be imminent

As to more knights to P: Yes they can go to P, but then through GoW territory. We need a credible attack on the Southern cities if we want to invade GoW up North. And there still is a chance that we will be facing ~9 riders in Valencia, we might need all the force we have. Currently, we only have 13 offensive units to deal with the riders, which is not too much. Let's use what we have, take back valencia, heal and reinforce, and steadily make our way up to Pamplona again.

You got me a bit wrong there, I meant that GoW could have 11 riders to attack with in the worst case (including the two that broke off), minus the one that killed RP's pike and can't attack immediately next turn. No matter.

Anyway, you're right about the knights. We should be more proactive and not as much reactive anyway.

You know what I just noticed? Vox is up to 8 cities! Looks like reconstruction went well.
