One of the last neighborhoods in Manhattan to get back on the grid.
Aside from some necessary stuff around the apartment... my first destination?

I feel like ND and GoW have had a long-standing caucus and discussion on making 3-move attackers the fundamental underpinning of their strategy and tactics... perhaps, just as we commented in the early game that some of the best thought was being discussed here, and not in the Strat forum, we are going to find that 3-move attacker strategy (without equal opponents, so not re Cavs) has been most thoroughly examined in their two private forums.
Strategic pillaging, movement / defense, rapid thrusts, dealing with slowmovers... sounds friggin' Rumsfeldian.
In other words, we are being outmaneuvered in a game of maneuver. It's not just that they HAVE 3-move units, but they are disposing their forces and running the war that way.
I need to ponder this a little. My gut reaction, and this jives with the mistake at Toledo, is that we need to be thinking much more about key transit and defensive points, and we need a LOT more defensive units to control the battlefield... then we can take these bastards down.

RP hasn't played their turn yet.
They're pondering over whether to switch governments (with a tendancy towards Monarchy).

I wouldn't say that getting involved was a big mistake - if RP go down we still have a nice set of cities on Bob, which we have the capacity to defend pretty well I think. That's more than we would have got sitting around in Stormia, and we haven't lost many units to get to this point (although it may cost us more to hold it - I suspect ND would be willing to make peace with us once RP is gone though, with a little inducement - since we are blocking GoW's expansion, not theirs).

I think that GoW has been deliberately leaving us alone (save bilbao) to have a post RP peace with us-perhaps they view us as the only way to displace ND or lego.
Then why would they tick us off in the public forum? This is certainly no way to prepare the grounds for future cooperation.
This could still work, though. GoW might have made such plans, but regardless of those plans got emotional when faced with our different approach and some of their members went out of control.
It's an interesting theory. Good thinking. Let's look out for any signs.
Btw, something that might reinforce this theory: I've read in a log between NYE and RP'ers that GoW has had contacts with RP recently and tried to convince them to help GoW against ND. Or maybe I got it wrong. If so, NYE, could you set me right?

Speaking of backstabbing, have we reached out to GoW? They, uh, get the concept.

I think the time is nearly ripe for the backstab of ND-RP looks finished, GoW has committed visibly to said defeat. No rider reinforcements have come down, I would have expected some, unless they are waiting for another 20 or so at once.
