At first glance, I have to agree with sleepy, GoW outmanuevered us, and RP is now hanging from a cliff, with no way of us helping them... I think its time to start thinking about offense.
We also badly need that road GoW pillaged working again... we're in serious mess.

What forces do we have joining from overseas this turn, and how many knights are there in Toledo?
I'm in favor of killing the wounded rider in Pamplona-66 using medinfs, if we have any available in NM. We have 45.5% chances of killing it with the first medinf that strikes, and a medinf is significantly cheaper than a rider.

It's tough to prevent the enemy from outmanuvering you when they have 3-move units and you lack expanded cultural borders.
I think we might have been able to do a better job, though (more knights on mountains).
What's done is done.
Shiber, a med inf that attacks from NM will leave itself exposed whether or not it actually kills the Rider (the Rider might retreat). I don't think it's worth it.
I think we should start to anticipate the riders better. It looks to me like they are going towards barcelona, probably best to start getting some knights down there... but that's just a first impression, it's terribly hot here (close to the hottest ever recorded), and my brain is cooking.
DeepO- not only that I heard Israeli correspondents in europe crying over the heat wave on the radio, it seems that fellow Stormians have been struck as well...
But I'd say be we've been through worse summers here

Well, we've been through worse summers, those that had no sunshine and only rain
I know you're used to more heat, however the difference lays in the humidity... you sweat, but it doesn't evaporate. I like heat, but not this stuff. I loved the Sahara summer when I was there 2 years ago, and that was over 50 degrees at certain places. But I could bear that, as the air was very dry... this Belgian heat makes me crancky.
