When I declare war on Vox with the 30 BC save, I get negative war weariness (the effect of three happy faces). How come? We're the ones declaring war, I thought that only the party that was declared upon would receive negative WW. Can anybody confirm this and explain?

Speculation: If you're seeing what you think you're seeing, it might have something to do with the fact that Vox has troops in our territory at the time we declare war.

would this WW be new in the latest patch? It didn't used to be like that in Civ, I'm quite positive about that...

Yes, 1.21 PBEM has WW back.

If the reason is because Vox has troops in our territory, then this must be something new about 1.21, because we didn't get additional negative WW when we attacked GoW's horsies that landed on our turf.

Yeah, that was what I meant... WW has changed in PTW 1.21 compared to Civ 1.29... because there you do not get negative WW when attacking a civ with troops in your territory.

Have civs ever gotten additional negative war weariness due to having more than one other civ attack them?

no idea, Nathan. But if so, we shouldn't worry too much about RP getting cut off from all their resources
