Hmmm, something good should happen this turn, I think.

The turn Vox gifts us their cities?

Will Vox be completely off our island by the time the Bob war begins?

Vox should be totally gone by 10AD, same turn the war starts.

A lot going on all at once, Vox leaving, FP completing, and Bob going to war.

Lets establish the embassy with RP this turn. Also note the gold necessary for investigating New Madrid and Barcelona.

We might wish to investigate Zaragosa, Santiago (to see if there is really a dying pope there) and Toledo, to see what GoW and ND are getting themselves into and to gauge what we should do, though presumably the two teams have already done this. We could act as intel gatherers for the first part of the war. (do we doctor the screenshots???hehe)

            Much gold wasted, I think.

I think we sit, for a good long while. Why aid the GoW assisted expansion of ND?

Until we get the all clear to take what should be ours, we should be coy. The critical bit in that is that they ask us to come, and drop the rediculous condition that we not stay.

Good point, We don't need to help them at the start.

Will we provide intel for them if they ask and pay for it?

Very good question. They have not asked yet.

Should we give them a taste of their own medicine, photoshopping the cities? Nah, that would be too transparent. (and against our code, eh?)

Yes. We will benefit from our code. We must suffer by it too.

                      Good morning everybody!
                      I've got the turn!
                      Opening...
"Close your eyes, for your eyes will only tell the truth,
And the truth isn't what you want to see,
Close your eyes, and let music set you free..."

We definitely have to start loading units frantically into galleys. Medinfs, pikes, 2-3 cats, and a settler?

Not sure we need/want to load units yet. There are still at least 7 more turns we'd want to wait before landing.

If we load the units into Galleys now, they either have to be out to sea (small chance we lose some, unecessary risk), or in a city (if someone investigates, it gives away what we are planning). Better to wait until we know we are going to go the next turn, load the units, and keep them out to sea for as short a period as possible.

                            Agree Aeson, as usual

Something to think about: RP will know we establish an embassy, yes? If so, do we need to tell them diplomatically?

When you investigate a city, do you see everything in the city radius or just whatever is garrisoned inside? If it's the latter, then we can keep our units one tile outside the cities where the galleys are docked and move them into the galleys when we decide to embark; that'd be as good as having them waiting loaded in terms of mobility, no?
