Ghengis is the new GoW ambassador to GS. CRAP!! Bleah. Fooy.
Good appointment on GoW's part though. He's the best for the job in our current state of affairs.
My own suggestion is: avoid chatting with him at all costs! When he shows up and asks for a chat, go see if you have an appointment with the dentist or something, make up an excuse when you can.

GF has the tendency to read whatever he wants too, no-matter what you say, easely stepped on his toes too.

I've no personal problems with GF. We get along outside the PTWDG, but he's great in acting out "scenes".
True, recently he's been humbled by his team that has overthrown him (for a while before he was finally kicked out of the C.o.W office, they've been doing diplomacy behind his back), but if he's been appointed as ambassador... I can only assume that they've come to realize his strong points.
We have little to gain out of speaking to GF. Once again I suggest limiting discussion with GF to PMs, and not taking seriously any of his extreme comments. Also, we need to form a back-channel with GoW, speaking to other members when he's not around to ruin any progress we make.

They seek to shame RP and spur them to do something stupid. Since they do not know all, this was a good thing to say publically.

Too bad I already let Arnelos know about them approaching us to help against RP. Too bad that they do not know what we know.

They could be fishing as well. Hoping that they will provoke someone on RP into letting details slip.

Shiber, not hard for me to limit contact with GF. He was the perfect choice from our POV since I am almost never in a chat room that he frequents. He is on another team in the ISDG.

I will be summoned from time to time though. When I am, I will keep in mind that I am dealing with someone prone to theatrics. I can have a think skin when it comes to that.

re back channel. We have one. MasterZen has always been available for me to chat with, and he sometimes looks me up.

I neglected the fact that he's on another team in the ISDG, as you mentioned; that can help us too.

In the meantime, the public forum stuff is killing me. They have mentioned the possibility that RP has given up Toledo in order to teleport units to Pamplona. Or maybe it just seemed to me like they did because I know that they did. In either case, they still don't know about those 7 catapults. MWHAHAHAHAHA!!! (or is it - MOO! HAHAHAHAHA!!)

RP: We need closer contact with them. Many ideas come up and plans must be coordinated. OPD, are you still up for it? Arnelos, Togas, and BigFree (away soon) would be your contacts. I can cover when I am around also.

Should we have a military envoy to RP in addition to OPD? They were looking for help tonight. None of their strat guys showed up on Poly today. Also, many ideas that we discussed here were proposed in a piecemeal fashion. It would be better if one of us could look after coordinating the militaries. Who would be up to it?

Lego: DeepO, what is our status there?

That's just about it. I guess we should keep up contact with Vox. Who wants it?

yeah cool. Can you give me a rough outline of what to communicate? I don't really know precisely whats going on. I mentioned forum exchange a while ago in passing and Togas seemed interested. Quite a few people from RP wanted to visit the forum iirc.

Just keeping the contact level up with our allies so that the relationship is cemented. Also so that ideas are passed quickly and do not languish.

We need to work closely with them if we are going to get the most benefit from the alliance.

Would you like the assistance of a military envoy? They like to do their turns in the middle of the night for you.
