That's false. A lot of people objected to the proposal as a whole, no matter how the words are put. I understand Nathans motives, but it is undoable at this point and it can and will backfire.

I do not want it to be sent, at least not without a poll. This offer can finally and irreparable ruin our reputation and show us as a bunch of arrogant and selfish bastard. Even if it will be sent, a disclaimer should be included, that it has been highly controversial disputed within our team and does not represent the opinion of all team members.

I am interested in the concept, and believe it merits further internal discussion, but I do not believe it is yet time to communicate this in any way with Vox.

I very much agree with SR, that if we were to make such an offer, this is such an important diplomatic communique (in many regards) that it should only be made after a poll... in fact, I would suggest that it require something more than a simple majority, perhaps a 75% majority.

That would kill every chance that we have to make this work.
Vox will only communicate a positive reaction to such a proposal if they feel that we stand behind it. Otherwise, they'll fear being laughed at ("Thank you for accepting these ridiculous terms for surrender, but we've decided not to go with it either way. Ha ha! *pointing finger and laughing*").

I do not want to say more than necessary. Once trhis question is answered, then we can look further for oppurtunities.

Will those that object to Nathan's letter please comment on this simple question.

I want to send it out (to do justice to the idea), but we are asking a lot and need to go reall slow. I want more input on t he simple message.

I will post something (either in this thread or a new one) explaining some things I see and how we can work to improve them.

Take my word for it, anything more than a simple question would be disasterous.
