  • Make me a 3rd player?

I'd like to be an official 3rd player for the team. I'll have plenty of free time and I'll be available during most hours of the day for the next two or so months.

DeepO suggested that I start a poll, so I did.
Voting is the traditional white (yes), black (no and veto, if you strongly object to me being a 3rd player for the team) and abstain. I thought this would be more appropriate in this case than a simple yes/no poll, for the same reason that we hold such a poll on applicants for membership.
    11
    White
    90.91%
    10
    Black
    0.00%
    0
    Abstain
    9.09%
    1

    The poll is expired.

I forgot to mention that this poll will run for 3 days. If anyone objects, please say so.

Like I said in the other thread, fine by me.

Just mentioning that I take bribes...

You can be the second player, since I dropped the case more than a month ago and won't play again, at least for now. Good luck.

I was wondering about that... I'm thinkin' "I know Sir Ralph resigned, and I know Nathan is our player right now, and Shiber wants to be #3, so who is #2?"

                Thanks Sir Ralph.

If I'll be playing some of the turns, I'll need instructions from Nathan on what to do during the pre-build phase.
I'm not actually going to play & send any turns without our chief economist looking at them first (unless Nathan is confident enough that he can project the next turn 100% and leaves detailed instructions), but in order to actually do anything (e.g. bombard with cats) I'll have to get through the pre-build phase.

                  That's none of your business!
And don't ever talk about or mention player #2 again.

You're welcome, although I don't think this game needs a second player. Reason below. But oh well, as long as you have fun being the turn monkey... I lost that fun at a certain moment very quick.

Nathan will be pleased. It's next to impossible to project the turns 100% and leave detailed instructions, basically from a screenshot. And since you want Nathan to look at them first in any case, he can actually play them himself instead of writing down all that stuff.

But I don't want to discourage you, your effort deserves a .

Shiber- it would a shame seeing such a young talented and creative player such as yourself doing all the dirty work of pre-builds and laborers shuffling, but well...

I'll be happy to help with the build phase if for any reason Nathan is not available, or you guys are stumped (like that's gonna happen... NOT!).

No no, Amy, my fiancee, is really cool (Sir Ralph? Nathan?)

She hates Vox (she saw the screen shot tonight... hell tath no fury, etc... "good, kill'em all), thinks GoW is suspicious, and is worried about Lego production. In the ISDG, she thinks we should just beat the crap outta everyone.

OK, we all gotta be embarassed on this: When she's giving me max grief, she actually points out how unprepared we were for the Vox invasion!! "You shoulda thought of that..."

/me embarrassed and disarmed... it sucks.

                            Two thumbs up for Shiber.

I cannot even describe how annoyed I am with that, after having yelled so long for an appropriate military and getting in return only comments, how pathetic Vox is and that it is soo highly unlikely that anyone attacks us. My first reaction on the attack was "Ha!"
