Third cat from Tempest hit. Any objections if I bring in the one from Monsoon and take a shot with it now?

        Do it.

Can you give us a running tally on remaining hps?

Monsoon cat missed. Two of the three Arashi cats hit. Overall: three hits out of seven. That leaves Vox with a 2hp immortal and a 1hp spearman. Shall I send in both our veteran medieval infantry now? (Or would we rather use a regular against the 1hp target?)

edit: crosspost. Ok, 3 for 7 isn't too bad.

Hmm... Hit with Vets. I'd save the regular for a more "sure thing" such as a shot against a wounded immortal or spear out on the flats.

Bad news: Vox's immortal killed our first vet medieval infantry and got promoted back to two hit points. I'm sending in the second of our third vet medieval infantry.

And more bad news: Vox just killed a second medieval infantry! But at least the immortal didn't get promoted this time, and he's down to one hit point. I'll send a regular against the spear and then our third vet against the immortal.

Slash (regular medieval infantry from Tempest) killed the Voxian spearman, taking one point of damage. He was not promoted in the process.

Hack (4hp medieval infantry from Arashi, recently promoted) took Arashi 9, suffering one point of damage in the process. So we killed a regular immortal and an injured vet spear at a cost of two veteran medieval infantry and one hit point of damage each to two other units. This is definitely not Gathering Storm's finest hour, but at least we have the production advantage to survive loss ratios that are not ideal.

Well, now we need more med inf for sure. We had been debating exactly what we needed to build... and I had been arguing for mostly horsemen, figuring a couple more med infs would be enough. Not so now.

Well, that is most of our combat... and I need to hit the sack.

What is the galley situation, Nathan?

Horsemen will be very usefull because they will still be effectual (sort of) with the river dividing our territory

I am beginning to wory that I see a potential to pull us off center, so to speak...
