Rule #1 of traps: when you announce you are luring someone into a trap it's because there really isn't a trap to begin with and just want the enemy to assume there's a trap to slow him down or make him more cautious...

I'm going with option 2. He wasn't tactical enough to keep his head on his shoulders was he?

              • This simple thing becomes just slightly more complex when a roleplayer roleplays rule #1.
                Statistical anomaly.

                • Did you say... role-playing role #1? No, it's Rule #1 of Role-Playing, isn't it?

What was the first rule of rule-playing again?

                    that's the counter-counter-bluff-trap

I guess there really isn't a way to predict the mind of your enemy... especially if that mind is detached from the body...

The first rule of role-playing (and only binding rule by the way) is :

No rule can limit the artistic expression of a role-player in action.
