Not yet... though it's down to only three teams with a chance to win and three teams with no chance to win but are still playing.

Well in summary, the Lego War is in all practical terms over though a not insignificant part of the Lego armed forces escaped and is hiding somewhere in the seven seas.

        A recap of the war:

        - Lots of naval action between GS and Lego in the west. Lego scored an major naval victory against GS greatly endangering the prospects of a successful marine invasion thus forcing both GS and GoW to land on the coast.
        - GoW performed mass bombings from Carriers on Legoland cities in the east. There was negligible naval action since most of the Lego fleet was in the west.
        - In 1265 AD GoW and GS landed on Legoland (east and west respectively)
        - Lego made a very spirited defense severely crippling the GoW stack near a city called Fort Stanwix and leaving GS stranded in the west.
        - In 1270 AD GS made a very daring and lucky suicide attack with transports against a Lego battleship blockade. This permitted GS troops to pour through an undefended city and captured central Legoland including the captial Legopolis, reaching Fort Stanwix from the west.
        - GoW broke out of Fort Stanwix despite tremendous casualties (100+ units lost on all sides in this one battle) and captured northern and southern Legoland leaving only 3 cities in Lego hands at the end of 1275 AD.
        - Lego made a last stand at the city of Albilene in the south which was eventually captured by GS after another bloody assault (80+ units destroyed on both sides). GoW destroyed the remnants of the Lego army in the north. About 1/3 of Lego's defensive units escaped by sea.
        - GS and GoW split the Lego continent, Vox, ND and Roleplay were also given a share. Complete colonization is still in process.
        - There are occasional skirmishes between ships but no large-scale engagements since the battle of Albilene.

All in all, the shortness of the war grossly understates how bloody and close the war was. Lego came just hit points away from frustrating the invasion. And in all, the war saw well over 300 units lost in less than 10 turns. if someone wants to write an update based on this, be my guest

              let's see...

This is a pic GS sent us at the end of the 1270 AD turn. It shows central Legoland captured.

Here's a pic after GoW broke out of Fort Stanwix (now the ruins west of Port Sacrifice) and captured northern and southern Legoland:

Also, hate to be a shameless self-promoter but I'll make the exception and link to The Glory of Newsâ„¢ which has brought the news of the war to the public in the most truthful, unbiased and accurate way imaginable on an almost turn-by-turn basis

maybe best to point out the dry facts as well, including some screenshots:

How DARE you suggest that the Glory of News is less accurate than the battle reports!

I did no such thing... I only pointed out that there also is a dryer version of the facts available

(at least this time you didn't forge the screenshots )

I know... the "you" was meant as a plural form. And surely the whole of GoW knew at the time, right?

Anyway, I prefer the Glory of News over those fancy maps we received 2 years ago
