From the Palace of the Immortals in the New Voice...
People of Voxtavia, People of the World...
Greetings!
You have no doubt read the press articles regarding the recent transfer of power in Vox Controli. I would like to reassure all our neighbours that this transition was much more peaceful than has been reported. Yes, Rhothaerill's palace was destroyed, but it was done by one of the more militant labour unions who were fed up with his heavy handed approach and pro-business stance.
Make no bones about it, this was a popular revolution. The Voice has spoken, and I, Beta, great grand-nephew to BetaHound, have now assumed the responsibilities as controller for Vox Controli. Ex-controller Rhothaerill has no need to leave the country; he has served the nation well, and the government has commited to building him more modest accomodations.
In the role of Controller, I will be ably asssisted by a strong cabinet:
1. Wittlich .... Along with myself, the longest-standing Voxian. He assumes the post of Minister of Defence.
2. conmcb25 .... a capable minister with a weird name and even weirder habits. Foreign Affairs.
3. snoopy369 .... the science minister whose dabbling in invisibility has resulted in him only re-appearing from time to time.
4. The aforementioned Rhothaerill, who will become Minister of the Interior. (Not as far in the interior has he had me placed, mind you.
) He was recently picked up by a fishing vessel and returned to Voxian soil. We welcome him back. 
5. And last but not least - our Minister of Absentia - jon miller. A critical role nontheless, because if we don't know where he is when he's not here, neither do you.
At this point, it is important that I reassure the world that Vox Controli's peaceful ways and our strong trade connections will continue. The change of government in Vox does not signal a change in direction. We - con or myself - will no doubt be in touch in the near future to see how we can further strengthen our relationships.
We also ask your indulgence for a slight delay in playing the save ...Beta scrambles looking for his PTW disc ...... ... as the transition to the new government is completed.
