Theseus Releases Statement as to Recent Bout of Insanity

I was on the moon at time...

    With Steve.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

Duas uncias in puncta mortalis est.

Vox Controli Posts Disclaimer, and Reveals Military Secrets

Vox Controli would like it to be made clear that we have no affiliation with the $10 Vox Plus and Vox Minute Cards being advertised in the world today. There will be no $1 million prize being offered by Vox Controli either.

It is not clear what the $ symbol means anyway. Vox researchers believe it to be an ancient form of monetary measurement. And the exchange rate with the current gold standard is not clear. Those who have a yen for further information on monetary matters are directed to to the extensive collection of commerce related works in the Library of the New Voice.

One thing that is clear, is that regardless of the exchange rate, you can buy a lot of fruitcake with either form of currency. However, Voxian scientists strongly advise against the consumption of this product, which has proven largely inedible in most countries. What research has revealed though, is that fruitcake stored for over a year makes excellent ammunition for catapults. Revealing such valuable military secrets is further evidence of Vox's peaceful stance in the modern world.

Happy Holidays to all, from Vox Controli.

Vox Controli Launches Law Suit re: Public Announcement Trade Mark Issue

        The New Voice, Vox Controli.

The prestigious law firm of Wittlich, Wittlich, Wittlich and Miller has issued a statment representing their client, the nation of Vox Controli.

"Recently the Glory of War has tried to claim trade mark status on the use of 'Public Announcements' made by their nation. Our clients are dismayed by this blatant disregard for the obvious and well-established ownership by Vox Controli of this trade mark form of communication. Such ownership is not only clearly established by hundreds of years of singular use, but by international copyright papers dated 750BC. Unfortunately these papers were destroyed in the Gathering Storm takeover of The Voice in 10BC. However, Beta of Vox assures us that such papers did in fact exist.

A lawsuit has been registered, not only requiring Glory of War to immediately discontinue the use of such communications, but to pay restitution to Vox for damages incurred."

Rhothaerill, speaking on behalf of Vox had the following comments:

"In some ways this is not surprising. It is clear that Glory of War is going through ... um .. some serious changes: demotions, senior staff movement, major hirings, and the like. It all looks pretty chaotic. This could simply be a case of the left hand not knowing what the right is doing. Or they may be a serious leadership vacuum with GoW. It is just not clear. But with such administrative chaos comes questionable actions - and this trade mark claim is a prime example.

I can only hope that on behalf of the entire world, the leadership of GoW stabilizes soon, before the questionable actions extend beyond simple trade mark disputes, and plunges us all back into the abyss of war.

Look at it this way, they take their most notorious military leader - the Butcher of Bilbao - and put him in charge of foreign relations. What does this tell us, I ask you. Specious trade mark claims are the least of our worries."

We will continue to follow this story.
