Ah well...I hope Panzer now understand why you don't give one continent one source of iron, and another continent every other source...

And I suck at diplo as well...

Yup. We were getting hammered with unrest late in the war.

Ok, one other teammember was ok with giving out the password, so that's enough for me!

And please don't make fun of the dissarray of the Empire right now... like I said, my investment in the game had been steadily waning...

              You know Wanda?

Our forces were decimated against Monkey, so we were acting support in the invasion. You can see I have around thirty units ready to move, with reinforcements being produced.

I like building high (fewer cities, but strong), which means I really got Monty going as far as our economy is concerned (the GA halped "a bit" ). But with no Iron (and I am sure the soon-to-be-started deal with Sunshine would also soon be cancelled) we would be dead, hence the idea to invade.

Too bad the capital was in such a sweet spot, denying a Palace Jump. Our Forbidden Palace just might have been ready before the Spaceship.
              Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

Do you mind telling us a little about the war between the monkeys and CoD/python? I can't remember getting any info at all while it lasted, except from cities disappearing from the map of course...

We had a strong army, and they were disbanding cities, unable and/or unwillig to take the fight. Then they simply ran out of cities, and we had a battle, which used up many Python and (I think) just a few CoD units. The reason was the turn order, which meant it made more sense for us to attack first. Monty also got a GA at this point (losing some Muskets, but it was worth it for the perfect timing). No Great Leaders, though (because there was just one battle, and we had very few Elites), which was a bummer.

I remember them asking about "which army to kill", I guess that was just hot air then

We got one leader, I think we got it after our like second elite vitory, built sistines with it, we didn't upset anyone else building it did we?

nah, CoD had no shields left to build any wonders. Both GLs were our first attempts at wonders.

However...Tabemono had 666 shields invested into a prebuild for god knows whatin Egg Roll, and SS had 373 shields invested into a prebuild in Suntanland, probably for the Great Library...or maybe Newtons? I have no idea how far ahead Trip was in tech...

Sure? Found a screenshot from Camelot 540AD showing 15 turns left to sistines...

I think I spied on the city last thing before rushing sistines with the leader.

Since when was Camelot a CoD City?

Well, from what I can remember, all of those wonders were bult "to stop the other continent from having them". Same reason I was building the Great Library, to stop you from gaining an absolute ton of free techs. I think Modo wanted Sistines more than Sun Tzus, but he was happy getting St and Copernicus, from what I can tell, again just impressions.

Personally, I could not care less what wonders you built, so long as you did not get ToE, Hoover, or the G. Lib.

Ahead of us, that is certain. Sunshine was the only civ we had no tech to offer to -- not Astronomy, nor Gunpowder. (Well, maybe Monarchy, but what kind of an "offer" was that? )

Like Krill said, we thought taking some wonders would be a good strategy to slow the other continent down. Since Monty had the GA, making wonders was one way to use it (building infrastructure and doing research, instead of building units and piling up Gold for a Cavalry rush), and so it was decided (i.e. nobody argued against, when I suggested we go that way).

As far as wonder choices go, I did want Sistine Chapel for a move of the lux slider (yes, the GA allowed some Cathedrals to be built). Took Sun Tzu's because there was no useful alternative after Sistine Chapel went away. It would have been nice to get Bach's instead, but there was no way Monty could afford diverting to get the tech, so it did not happen. Copernicus' was a planned build, to get the maximum out of our small core. It made little sense to build the Great Library, since we (just Monty) already had Education at that point, and I suspected there was little to nothing to get anyway, and I knew CoD had at least one well-timed prebuild going -- our relationship was pretty close. So it was decided that CoD would take the GL (or at least a shot at it...)
