IIRC the first factor is actually (hp * defense rating) - a 4 hp spearman will defend in preference to a 2 hp pikeman. In the case of a tie, highest defence rating is used. If that's a tie, I'm not sure what happens. We all know spearmen defend before swordsmen (of the same hps), which either suggests lowest attack strength defends first, or that 'defensive' units defend first, and there is yet another tie breaker for non-defensive units. It'd make sense that lowest attack strength defended before highest attack strength, but there might be some effect due to mixing fast-movers and normal troops as well...

      Or cheapest unit defends first

(I *think* an empty transport will defend a full one provided everything else is equal )

Hey, Monkey, why not just stop this war and we all invade the other continent? Hows that for an idea
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Oh, great plan Krill. Trade Numidians for Legionaries and Riders!

As you can see, we at CoD are expert strategists

As a prominent member of Monkeydom, I have to officially protest the lack of a banana option.

Oh wait we took all of our extra banana's and shoved them up Panzers arse, our monkey thanks to him for this fantastic map

Cod seems to be winning, hmmmmm.

Whose idea was this to exterminate us poor defense-less, harmless monkeys anyway.

Did CoD come up with the idea? Or Monty?

Pick a big city, put all of your units into it, then go into anarchy.

I'm sure chewing through 40+ NMs plus Catapults will be quite fun for the invaders.

Sounds good. Make us a proposal. I suspect we have the three strongest armies in the world right now. Build some galleys and lets go.

That's one option on the table for sure.

I guess there should've been a banana option afterall.

Thank you one and all for your input.
