I don't believe Golden Bear's intent is to show disrespect. He enjoys writing and attempts to incorporate humor into his stories. I get a kick out of reading his stories.

My understanding of his disclaimer is that he will remove material that he did not anticipate causing problems. As discussed previously, so many different people on this forum, it is difficult to anticipate every single person's concern.
