Yes - it is a private forum - set up on Apolyton by Apolyton, to support a demo game consisting of 6 teams, umpteen players, and likely to last for some time. This game is an Apolyton community effort. It has come about because of collective will, and yes, compromise at times.

well this is looking better from a purely technical point of view.

you do need to understand that we are actually a well named team, Blood(y obstinant and unforgiving) Oath Horde

so some internal chat is under way at this time

Nope its not roleplay Beta and neither is it the other option you gave, as Ive said this is not going to happen so discussion over.

If the sites owners feel that i am breaking some kind of rule then Im happy to hear their thoughts, but in the end we will just hold our discussion somewhere else if we cannot get our privacy here.

Well, we haven't had a little dust-up like this in quite awhile.

I don't really understand your opposition to this. Paddy has already stated his reason and we've responsed and now he's thinking it over. Please explain your personal reasons why we should not have game admins having access to all forums. All you've done so far is say "it's private now STFU". To put it bluntly, that's how I see your posts so far and I don't think they've added anything to this discussion.

In any case, I'm leaving for the weekend. Hopefully this will all be sorted out by the time I get back.

I hate putting things this way, but Chrisius, have you ever been part of a democracy game before? I have. I've been part of 5 before this one. Having a game admin with access to forums has only ever been a help, and it's never been a hindrance to any team's discussion abilities in their forum.

It is not a matter of breaking rules - as far as I know - there are none that really exist around this sort of thing. It is a matter of accepting what it is best for the game and those involved as a whole. That is what we are discussing.

This really isn't that big a deal.

Who has the save anyway? The last team didn't send it to

I agree. That is why I say forget about the forum monitoring and history thing, and just make sure we have a way of fixing things if and when we need it.

                              Chrisius - and Paddy.

I want to apologize for the "edginess" of my posts of yesterday. Chrisius - I still stand by my position and the proposed compromise, but I was somewhat personal in my responses. I'm sorry.

And for my inappropriate post in response to Paddy's typo, I apologize not only to Paddy, but to all on this forum.

I have edited some of the material from yesterday.

As I stated, I just thought this had become standard practice by now...you know, since all other poly games have done it...

No offense meant by the request, nor is any taken by the responses. "it's alright, I understand..."
